You are lucky you are sick Steve, or I would put my arms thru the screen and shake ya....lol Sorry you are having such a rough go of it, both physically and emotionally......... Now breathe get better and look in the freakin mirror........you are a success cause of what you have done, not the lapband. It was a tool yes, but you were in control of it. Rest and look after you, you will figure it out. Have a great Holiday! =D
So sorry to hear what happened Steve. I couldn't hear you in this video but I'll be sending tons of positive thoughts your way. Stay strong my friend.
Stay strong Steve, I have not been fighting the good fight lately and have completely slipped off the tracks, but the more I see people like you trying to s hard and achieving so much, it makes me want to rally! Everything happens for a reason, try to do all that you can to stay on top of things.
Thank you for making this video. I was thinking about the lap band for years... I currently way 360 pounds, my highest was 375... The past week I've been walking 45 minutes each day, and I am on a low carb and calorie diet. This is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. My food addiction was similar to yours. I am trying my hardest to beat this. It's so difficult.
It definitely wasn't a waste. While the band may have gotten infected now, you still have lost a great deal and more importantly learned all the rules and healthy eating...just keep following that plan. I know emotionally it must be SO very difficult...especially if you've had friends bail on you. I know that heartbreak and it's not easy. Focus on those that are sticking around and even the ones online that aren't close by. Definitely do what you need to take care of you and heal up.
Awww Steve so sorry to hear about this! You did really great with it and I have a feeling you will be able to carry on your healthy habbits without it:) Stay strong!
Oh Steve! What a story you have shared. I can only imagine what the last month of your life has been like. I am sorry for what has happened with your band, the erosion, the mersa and the overall mental and physical trauma of this situation. You are STRONG! At this point you continue to heal and recover and then what? Would you consider another WLS down the road? Did your bariatric doctor say what may have caused the erosion? Did you notice any changes in appetite, eating, etc in the month
Oh shit dude you look totally different man. Don't worry about not having the band. You are mentally strong enough to continue your progress guy. Stay strong. It's been so long since I seen one of your videos and I will certainly check em out on Youtube soon as they're posted.
Steve. I hope u can do an updated video because I couldn't hear anything u were saying. I really hope your ok and I am so sorry to hear about your band. It is not the end of the world. U can still learn how to maintain your weight. Its all mental. Remember that!!
Steven, this is NOT the END -Im so thankful you r still here with us-It could be Worse -You have Learned from the Lapband and YOU can do it with out it -DOnt give UP -and when YOU was in the Hospital they didnt check your band?is that why you had a fever the WHOLE time? YOU can do it !!
wasted the last 2 years. I don't think so sir! I think maybe once you heal you wont be as sick anymore. I honestly believe you can stick to it. I think you can keep on keeping on. Good luck. :)
Steven, you have come so far, the lap Band helped but it was you that controlled your journey and you will continue to control your journey , you know the rules and they still apply to you !
Your support group is right here.. You are not alone, just don't give in and keep in mind maintaining how you have been living and you will be OK.
I do hope you feel better soon, take care : )

I wish you peace and a release from fear.
I wish you health and the joy of knowing that you have accomplished so much.
You have a support system here that loves you.
May you heal and your fevers disappear.
Continue to drink the water and take your vitamins. Continue to exercise.
It is you that is successful. Your band was a tool.
You have the strength to do this and you will.
I am so thankful to have known you.
These last two years are important to both of us.
Seek Joy in Christmas!

Think of all you've been through. You're a survivor. This is going to be hard, but worth it in the end.

Im sorry you are having health issues.
I know you can continue managing your weight without the band, you've come so far and let nothing stop you.
It's super hard to hear you...earphone may help...to anyone watching.
