  • This is why people are always not wanting to try new things, negative criticism, people should try and be helpful not hurtful. Like when people tell me I suck, or I can't drum very good. Well what do people expect me to pick up the sticks and be like HELL YEAH and just be pro at them, NO everyone starts from somewhere quit knocking people and give them advice share you talent so that other people can have talents of their own, it would make the world a much better place.

  • the fills are maybe technical very impressive but those combinations sounds like SHIT !!!

  • @Alexej88 agreed

  • honestly i don´t like the way u play. but nice kit ;)

  • kudos on posting your vid, you have one hell of a heart on doing so.. oh i heard a dave weckle arm transplant is on sale at walmart..

  • Metronome!!!!!

  • ewr! rich...

  • buen video, buen ritmo, pero muy mal el agarre de los palillos...

  • @gmaiocco

    *just used google translate*

    Poor grip?????????

  • @JeremyNZ1978

he said that the way you hold the sticks is wrong, but that is bullshit. In music, there is no right or wrong, just what you want to hear.

  • @produccionesmiranejo There is actually a right "way" to hold the sticks so that you won't hurt your hands on the long run and maximize the strenght of your hits but hey...

  • @JeremyNZ1978 Yes...he actually said you have bad grip on the sticks...

  • Pretty good could be cleaner though

  • muito bom,mas esperimente usar pedal duplo junto com as maos, seu solo ficara mais cheio e completo.[robao batera].

  • 59 seconds in .. do you paradiddle with your feet or just straight doubles?

  • @pinkvelvet100

Ummm I think they were just singles actually

  • @JeremyNZ1978 thats what i meant lol

im a fecking idiot sometimes =D

  • @JeremyNZ1978 thats what i meant lol

im a fecking idiot sometimes =D

  • Good work! I have a question about paradiddles that no one has cleared up, is it all single strokes or are you bouncing the stick at all?

  • @ValentineQ14

Some ppl use bounce for the double in paradiddles,I use a wrist stroke and finger stroke in mine.

  • i think you need more cymbals

  • Sure they can! I mean, you can do loads of things with or without them , and you can get creative however you want, but practicing rudiments just at different speeds and on different drums can make you stumble upon some awesome grooves! They are DEFINITELY not the only way, but knowing rudiments is pointless unless you apply them! Rather than basing your creativity upon rudiments, you can get creative WITH rudiments!

  • can you do a slow down video to teach me your fills? Im only 13 i wont steal, just trying to learn!

  • good but no soul and dynamic...boring though

  • Any chance you could perhaps give me all your A customs??!! :D

  • This was nice. :D What's your kit?

  • @king94drummerboy

    Tama Starclassic

  • solid groove. just work on your endurance at those tempos. they can be tricky, but you're really good at working with fast tempos. keep up the good job

  • omg u are so like my boy friend! :D

  • Wheres d dynamics mate.. :)

  • thats pretty good to make a beat out of pradiddle

  • I love your paradiddles!... Awesome work Jeremy!...

  • you are one amazing drummer

  • If Buddy rich was alive he would kick your ass if he saw your comment Yngwie

  • Yeah he would!!!! No, look at the man. He does exactly what yngwie says, plays 20min snare rolls. Even though so many people hail him and sees him as the greatest drummer alive. I find him sooooo boring!

The bigger kit, the more possibilites that is logic. And that more interesting than a guy pounding his snare, almost alone, for 10-20mins, most of the time :)

  • lol

  • @Frede0507: Either you are not a drummer, or you're an idiot. It doesn't matter what size of a kit you have. Give me terry Bozzio's kit and i wouldn't know what the hell to do with it, but give terry my kit and he'll totally lay down a kick-ass groove. It's like saying "The more pedals or more features you apply to your guitar, the better a guitarrist you'll be. Get real, man.

  • I don't know about that. When you have less drums it forces you to be more inventive with your patterns and rythmns to keep it feeling fresh. The whole, "you don't have 1 million drums so you won't sound original," is just a cop out for uninspired drummers.

  • you become more creative with a smaller kit because you have to make do with what you have....

  • @Yngwie2112Matarrese Dude, I took everything off my drumset but my snare, hats, and bass, and I probably learned more than I would have in six months of playing my whole kit. It forces you to get creative with your rudiments.

  • @king94drummerboy

Wow, I loved that comment untill you said rudiments...sure rudiments force you to improve coordination, skill, etc, but should not be a basis for creativity...jeeezz.....

  • so many cymbal!!! XD

  • look, anyone can buy a bunch of cymbals, pedals, and all the little cool sounding things that guitar center has to offer and think they will ROCK! break your kit down to just a kick, snare, and hat and work on groove. speed and chops don't mean crap. slow it down man. GADD it up a bit.

  • watching Gadd makes me wanna cry

  • pretty good i get what u guys are saying, but like he just wanted to play a fast solo and show off his paradiddle skills, so props dude, good stuff

  • This guy gets it!

    Thanks man.

  • Try slowing it down, will sound allot better.

  • At first I didn't realize that you were using two hi hats, lol I thought you had like the fastest hand in the world.

  • i could never hold parradiddles down like that... ever. i kick ass on a kit, but i cant hold down that shit.. especially transitioning between cymbals and toms, and a snare like thast.

  • Not bad, but I think your drums could use some tuning

  • OMG!

nice drum kit... but you need more groove man!...

    feel the music...

try to make a slow patter and them make a solo... ;)

  • It's kinda like that guy that all the drum clinic guys talk about that have chops but totally forgot about feel and musicality. But hey, it is what it is

  • u need some rings

  • Damping = shit.

  • Excellent. If you want my opinon like i like getting opinions you will take this as "constructive critisim" The only think i noticed that were poor were you dynamics need work, since your kit sounds poor on this audion its easy to pick up that your strokes can get more even too. Try reducing the tempo and get it to "groove" I'm not "drum god" by any imagination, and i dont mind constructive critisism

  • Nice drumming.I like your drum set.

  • hey man cool stuff. you should try practicing with a metranome. ha ha doin't know how to spell that. keep practicing bro

  • nice solo :D

  • dude ur fast but speed is nothing without timing, heck drumming is nothing without timing.

  • Respect!!

    5 stars

  • NICE

  • Thanks for the comments guys.

Hey I know its loose, I just chucked the camera up and went for it. If I wanted to play it slow then I would've.

One day I'll get round to a slow groove vid.

    Cheers!

  • amazing cymbals man

  • BRO, I agree to everyone who has commented about your speed drumming! If you slow down it might in fact sound alot better!!!!!! Your timing is slack and I don't feel anything from your way of playing. I have been playing for 20 years but I could never play like this, SORRY BRO!!!!!

  • Maybe slow it down a bit dude, you could bring out a real nice groove with a slower tempo and a few more accents. Perhaps don't feel you need to use the whole kit just because that many options are available.

    Keep it up!

  • Very good! I think if you slowed down a little and emphasized "cleanliness" it would be even better.

  • ew! A customs :( Z all the way :D

  • god NEITHER!

    K customs! Traditional finish :)

  • Well used the paradiddle but just dont like it,

  • quite sloppy, no offence to your playing but the solo just sounds so lifeless and has no feel, its just fast.. you could play half as fast and it would probably sound better!

your a good drummer just think; less is quite often more!

  • hell yea..! whats the little cymbal you play with on your right hand?!

  • They are Zildjian 10" Special Recording Hats.

    Cheers

  • excellent man!

  • i agree,

play with a metronome, it will clean it up

  • have you ever heard of time keeping?!

  • Yes, yes I have.

  • Very well played :) That was so sick :P

  • how do you play them so fast?

  • shit..time to practice my paradiddles. nice job and thats being subtle..! D

  • that was very nice. i like that you got this driver seat action shot. very nice playing.

  • cool!

  • not bad my friend, not bad at all!

  • Cheers Mario. :D

  • Great job!

  • impressive no doubt, you got to appreciate how much practise it takes to get to here. my paradiddles suck, but i'm just starting out. nice set up as well.

  • holy sheep shit dude, thats awesome! I wish my paradiddles where that good

  • Thanks man!
