I have used my xbox for several years and while i was playing dead island the screen got really glitchy and i turned it off and went to bed thinking it was my TV but then i tried to play it the next day and NO VIDEO but still audio. If this happened to you and know where to find a fix tell me!

it doesn't work here. I just bought 50" plasma after playing xbox on AV with my old telly. plug in HDMI cable to the XBOX360 and get the no signal msg. Hook up the PS3 finds it straight away .would you like to play at 1080p select yes. I now have 50'screen and XBOX only lets me play AV cables .How embarrasing for Microsoft.

Ok I think I can help.

On the front of the TV have a few holes.

XBOX 360 video cable has three connectors. What are the yellow, red and white.

Should be on the front of the TV you have the same three colors, but these are the holes where you put these ports!

ADD THEM HERE.

Try turn on the console and it should work

Jus an update if u recently dwnloaded a Beta for example Halo Reach turn off ur console and leave it off for a while also this does work and compliments for finding this and if this dont wrk leave console off let it cool then later try it should work

ok, not sure how, but doing this worked. I did a few other things along with this and i am playing games. 1) i did this a couple times 2)set the switch from HD to TV 3) i unplugged the cable from the xbox and blew into all the holes i could find ( face full of dust) 4) i used the yellow red and white cables, plugged them into the front of my tv. 4) i stood the xbox up instead of laying it flat. 5) turned it off and back on again using the button on the front. not sure how but Voila. My unit had the no video with audio problem after the GFX started to glitch. I sent it to microsoft for repair claiming the e74 error. It came back repaired without a hitch. What does this mean? You can send your unit in for this issue and it is covered under the RROD/e74 extended 3 year warranty as long as you CLAIM the e74 error!!

It's a problem with the GPU. you are going to have to get it repaired for $100 unless you're still under warranty, because stupid microsoft wont own up to it like the RRoD and fix it for free even though it's a common problem. I'm thinking of trying the towel trick, either it's going to fix the problem or make it RRoD so I can send it off and get it fixed for free.

So from my experience, if you are having problems with the GPU, just send it in to get repaired or find someone who knows how to fix it.
