The reason this sounds so forced is because of the video's quality. It's very scratchy and the singing comes off scratchy, but it's really REALLY great. Listen to the version on Barbra Joan Streisand (the Album). It's fab.
This is probably one of the best things every recorded...I remember my uncle telling me when he watched it on TV for the original run...how chilling it was...and how she blew the screen out of the TV..OMG...she is so phenomenal....
If that is your opinion Allbuzz of Barbra and her voice---probably the finest of the century--than, excuse me, you have a ways to go before really being a worthy performer....go watch some more Streisand, and if you are not moved/impressed/inspired in your art, perhaps you should reconsider careers.
