The cast should be predominantly Asian. But it looks like movie producers and directors like to mess things up.

why do they all have to be asian. its an american cartoon and they r gonna use american actors who cares.

secondly you have to realize they have to be able to act. asian people tend to be smaller people where some roles require different types of people. and an all azn cast takes away variety which is needed in a movie.

thirdly they have to know how to fight to have good fight scenes and apparently dev (zuko) knows how to. and the dude who plays aang is a martial arts master whiz kid.

Most probably, but watching him in Skins and Slumdog Millionaire, i don't see him playing the role successfully (hopefully I'm proven wrong). The kid playing Aang i didn't have a problem with, despite him being slightly chubby lol.
