I love Lene's music. It's a little jazz, blues, New Wave, Goth, and always innovative!!!
I only hope that someday she receives all the accolades she so richly deserves for being a groundbreaking pioneer in an industry that was mired in melancholy boring music and disco.
It may not be everyones cup of tea but she was daring enough to go out there every night to try something that was uniquely fresh and very new.
I saw Lene at The Kabuki Theater in San Francisco in 1982 and it was UNFORGETTABLE!!!! I remember waiting in line for hours and she EVERY SONG in her catalog! How many stars do that???
I saw Lene at the Essoldo, Lenton Abby...probably part of this tour...yes one of the best !
