All my clothes and my shoes were taken + I was given a navy blue jump-suit thing made of a papery material and some slipper/sock things. I didnt think it was that bad. Saw a doctor, got my finger prints taken and a mug-shot. 1 nite.

Americans go bananas over the smallest things, in Australia guards and cops are pretty easy going on a whole and if you treat people with respect they will treat you with respect, in my view most of the aggression comes from the Police and the guards in these American facilities. I wish American realized what a police state of a country they live in, the government wants records on people there so they can track them hence the many trivial crimes which involve been finger printed for.

Americans should understand that the U.S government is using information sourced from agencies to keep track on everybody who comes in with a record for the smallest infractions.

An inmate can do anything and put the officers in danger. Letting inmates know they can walk all over you is possibly the stupidest thing you can do in a jail.

I see a bunch of CO's on power trips. That one dude made a slight comment 'Tough guy' because the guy is ordering him around like a fucking drill sergeant and he is immediately restrained/assaulted and isolated. They treat people like animals and in doing so become the same. I have been arrested and I was always very polite and non-aggressive and never had any problems with police where I live. @TheInfoWarri0r I agree. Most of the time on these shows the cops are usually trigger happy and if you go looking for trouble chances are you will find it due to mis interpeting something.
Officers seem to care more about making the arrest and using their authority then encouraging suspects to kick their drug habits. These susepects are only going to come out of jail hating cops even more.
It's only a matter of time before full jail riots become the norm.

The cops here are on edge;they obviously expect, even anticipate problems will occur. If an arrestee even looks at the cop wrong, in the isolation cell they go. The attitude, in my opinion, is unnecessary.
