@deresdef there is a type of deer i think called fallow or something(im probobly wromg on the name) in certain areas and are an abunance, they are very small but there are a ton so you can bag like 10 or so depending on the region

@MegaTommy14 The 243 is a perfect caliber for deer! Killed my deer this year with one and would do so again! The 243 is also a great weapon for a kid to use as well as it doesn't kick as much as your 30 caliber rifles, which are also effective. Don't underestimate some of the smaller calibers. They are just as lethal and do the job just fine. Obviously, you don't use a 22LR as it is not a legal caliber to use.

Are you kidding me. I have seen deer at 12.00 noon chasing does. You have to hunt where there is deer sign, from there on its 99.99 % luck and being in the right place at the right time.  If its bow season and there isnt an army of guys in the woods wandering, stay in your stand all day, take your lunch with you, a urination bottle, and stay there.
