I kind of felt like the BuyN'Large store was a dig at Walmart. And just because someone is a Christian Conservative doesn't mean they don't care about the environment.
I realize a lot of them don't, but not all. I mean, how many Christian Conservatives are big Hollywood directors or would even bring attention to the fact that rampant consumerism and trash would be harmful to the environment.
It is not an global warming film. Pixar stated that was not the point of this movie. It is about people spending to much time with electronics and not with each other. The guy who made it considers himself a "Christian conservative."
i love WALL-E. it's one of my favorite PIXAR movies followed by Toy Story. It send a message but not only about the Earth crisis, but also the future. People became lazy after that stupid floating chair was invented and was not well educated. if you notice that lady Mary didn't know how cool the future was. she also didnt even notice there was a pool in there! I bet she had passed it all her life but just didn't notice. well overall this movie is GOLD! :)

I wouldn't waste my time watching this. Besides it being a little kid's flick, it's just more liberally biased messages for the public. No thanks. PEOPLE, DON'T LET THE MEDIA CONTROL YOUR MIND. DO YOUR RESEARCH INSTEAD OF WATCHING POPULAR NEWS STATIONS.
hey i thought it was gonna be the worst movie ever and i got dragged along to go see it and i LOVED it dont judge a book by its cover and especially a movie by its case
There was no intention or hidden message behind Earth as they portrayed it. The first concept of Wall E was in '94 when the bandwagon that people are jumping on today was minimal. Andrew Stanton (the director) said that is not even a theme, but rather a coincidence.

Do we really need to pay money to be reminded of the sorry state of our world, didn't Al Gore already do that? I hated the movie, it was depressing and SAD.
What a shame.
On a scale of 1 - 10 and Toy Story representing 10, this is a 2. The media is always harping on the environment and overweight people, do we really need to see it in a "kid's movie". I was actually depressed after seeing it.
Frankly I was dissapointed, but then they tacked that save the human race from the mal-functioning evil auto-pilot, which had very little to do with the relation of walle and eve, it would have tracked better if walle or eve disabled the auto-pilot.
WALL-E was fantastic :D Go see it in the theater . There were multiple times where i my jar was dropped for minutes at a time is awe. And for its grand scales of the landscapes the theater experience is a must ;)
At the beggining i got bored cuz there wuz barely a plot ( Im going to watch a movie about 2 robots twirling around 4 2 hours...???) But it got interesting...awesome plot....It wuznt the BEST pixar film but It wuz a defininate Must-see awesome movie 4 a whole family...
This movie was great. Compared to older Pixar movies, not the greatest, most likely because of all the serious stuff, like the people on the ship al being fat and not doing anything for themselves. THis was good though, you should go see it.
You should see it. This video makes it look bad. I don't think pixar was trying to show us computers are bad and the earth will be a dump in the future, they were just trying to come up with a good plot and they did.
Wall-E was entertaining. It is Pixar's worst movie, yet still worth seeing. While still good, it cannot compete with their other classics. I disagree with others that this movie is the best Pixar has released. I don't believe it can compete with Finding Nemo, Cars, Toy Story, and Monsters, Inc. It has a good story line and message behind the great visuals.
I would have to disagree with you, but then again, everyone has different tastes. I notice with some films (Such as Ratotoulle) I found I like it better the second or third time round. It's almost as if first time is just warming up bat, while the second time hits you out of the park.
i never seen cars but and i don't plan to it just didin't look as smnart as as wall-e i think the only movie for me that could've possibly topped wall-e is monsters ink defenitly not finding nemo because that was just so boring and predictable and in a toy story had to much morality in it or action maybe a bugs life could go against walle
I must be the only person in the whole entire universe that didn't like WALL-E. Now please don't give me thumbs down. People have opinions. Anyway I agree the visuals were amazing but I thought it was slow and didn't have any point.
Didn't have a point? Wow! Garbage everywhere? People having to leave their planet because they abused the crap out of it?People becoming seriously overweight because all they do is float around and never exercise? People not even realizing what goes on around them because they're on some sort of communication device or have their face in some computer screen? This is all happening TODAY, well all except the floating around bit. Those seem like points to me. I don't know maybe go watch it again.
For those of you who say it was a rip-off of Short Circuit, please inform me how you came to such a conclusion? We must have watched different movies.
robot looks similar in shape to both johnny 5 and ET. they all have that cutesy barely coherent thing about them. also, recall the film "Batteries not included"... WALL-E also borrows (rips off) ideas from 2001 space odyssey and even Idiocracy. This review is complete crap.
