  • thanx

  • at 5:00 he start talking about cracks and buts

  • fl studio is so under rated

  • hi i think ive changed something in my fruity loops and its bugging me i cant find out how i did this basically my octaves have changed like from C5 its usualy a low octave but its gone to a high octave and now C3 are the low octaves please help me :(

  • Shift+Ctrl+L is the best thing since sliced bread! THANK YOU!

  • SHIFT Control L you deserve a very slow clap right now leading to a large croud roaring

  • I somehow activated some option that is activating the ALT key and nothing is limited by quantization. How do I turn it off please? It makes my work imprecise. Thanks in advance.

  • ey I remembered watchin a tutorial that taught how to do shortcuts on deleting a selection of channels on the step sequencer, but can't find it anymore which is why I came to this video. Can u make a quick tutorial on that?

  • thnx!

  • hey i was wondering if anyone knows how to use the typing keyboard as a piano instead of them keys being assigned to each and every sound

  • THANKS......THIS VIDEO WAS VERY HELPFUL BUT I'M STILL HAVING PROBLEMS REROUTING THE MIXER

  • One of THE most helpful tutorials I've seen on FL Studio functions..and I've been working w/ this software for YEARS! Thanks a lot! I'm subscribing.

  • Shift ctrl L....thank you man.

  • THANKS THIS REALLY HELPED ALOT!!!!

  • how do you copy and past???

  • Great Tutorial! Very helpful.

  • I figured out the Ctrl trick, but everything was very helpful. Great Tutorial!

  • you use fl studio 9?

  • thanx

  • u sound just like my boss kenny lol

  • hey man please do tell me what skin (or feature) are you using to differ colour in piano roll for regular and sharp notes. I've seen it in in many tuts from various cool guiders like you but I can't find this important info anywhere. And your skin is awesome as well (same question as the first one ;-) )

  • ctrl-L FTW

  • great stuff ! how do i copy pattern one to pattern 2 without having to draw every note in

  • Comment removed

  • I like to hold down shift then select all the instruments that have any info and then hit Ctrl + C to copy those instruments, then I hit F4 to go to the first empty pattern, and then I hit Ctrl + V to paste the copied info. Don't stop a rockin. -Adam

  • mate quality stuff here. youve saved me alot of time and frustration.cheers

  • How can I change the shortcut keys? With "Typing to piano" enabled you can't press C to slice...

  • Learn the other shortcut for "slice!" it won't be affected by this feature. The shortcut is to "Shift + right-click" in the piano roll. This brings up slicer.

  • For me in FL Studio 8 that just lets me pan left and right.

  • @AcePincter In fruity loops 9 they removed so that I can't use both Shift keys to slice.. How do i fix this? :C

  • u rule

  • HEY THANKS MAN!

  • thxxxxxxxx that was great

  • in your piano roll u have everything showing up in grey and the notes being played for the specific channel show up green, how do i turn off all the grey blocks from showing up?

  • seriously? no one has an answer for this?

  • aha! alt+v does it

  • There called Ghost Channels. Press alt + V or use the menu file>help>turn on/ogg ghost channels. They help you keep your melodies in key etc

  • THANK yOU!!!!! i SO LOVE yOU NOW LOL yOU HELPED ME ALOT iN SO MANy WAyS iTs CRAZi THANK yOU REALLy APPRECiATE iT!!!

  • helpfull dude tanx

  • I've just started using the software yesterday and its all great apart from one thing that is really bugging me:

Pressing space bar returns to beginning of track in piano roll mode.

It wasn't doing this all the time so I think I may have toggled something somewhere? If anyone can help I'd appreciate it much it's very annoying having my track return to the beginning when I press "space" to pause the preview!

  • This was really helpful. thank you.

Dude sound like Mitch Hedburg!! lol.

  • Great Post Thank u

  • Long live AcePincter! This was a ton of help

  • THANK YOU!!!! I was wondering how to copy & Paste! It was driving me insane!!

  • Your tutorial is awesome. One quick question, I couldn't really understand the very last part where you reroute all the mixer tracks/channels to one bus,,the video was cut and messing up at the end. If you can just send me a message regarding that that would be great..THankssss a xillion!!!

  • yeah am getting the same problem, the sound seems to cut on the most important parts..

Apart from this am enjoying ur tuts, thanks alot!

  • tnx.............help a lot!!!

  • thank u man that was so helpful ty ty ty ty ty

  • thanks alot! thank you to everyone posting help like this so clearly

  • Thanks! This was very helpful!

  • This was a good tut. Finally a tut that shows useful things. Nice job.

  • dude!! i love you! ( im not gay ). you helped me soooooo much!!!! especialy: 3 min that part helped me the most! ty ty ty for helping me ! gl being a good dj. :D

  • Nice tut ;)

but i dont understand what the alt key does in playlist? (min 2:00) you say that the loop moves smoothly, not from square to square , because you keep alt key pressed? but it moves the same way if i dont keep alt key pressed

  • Alt Bypasses your "Snap to" setting. So you must have your "Snap to" setting at None, or very small intervals!

  • Nice tut ;)

but i dont understand what the alt key does in playlist? (min 2:00) without restricts of quantizations you mean it doesnt move the loop square by square and it moves it smoothly? i can move it that way without keeping alt key pressed...

  • Nice

  • That alt+L and Ctrl+l on the mixer is probably one of the most useful things I've learned regarding FL studio. thanks ace!

  • maaaaan all your tut are great finally i started to do som stuff that a lil bi became sound proffessional with your and nfx advices damnn all of your videos are rated 5 from me \/

  • Something odd happens with the encoder at about 5 minutes, but it recovers fairly well.

  • How do you assign patterns to each channels? I have having the following problems:

-I created a beat in FPC piano roll and assigned pattern 1

-I copied those notes, pasted them to pattern 2, to make it slightly diff

-When I assign mixer 1 & 2 to pattern 1 &2 individually with ctrl+L, both pattern signal shows up on the last mixer ( "2), also when I tried sytrus in 3rd pat, I saw all the other notes, patterns are gone!!! :( what am i doing wrong?

  • Just make two of the same sounds and have them on seperate channels
