  • lol iv never had to scruff my ferret or give him ferretone for nail clipping, hes so relaxed he will cuddle in my arms an let me do it XD hes such a mommas boy, love my little cuddle bug

  • I still have tons of trouble cutting my little Dookie's nails after owning her for 8 years. I'll have to try the Ferretone thing.

  • All good, but it's not necessary to have two people if you put the ferret in your lap and put two drops of Ferretone on his belly. He will be so distracted trying to lick it off that one person can easily cut all the nails.

Go to eHow and search "How to trim a ferret's toenails".

  • Great video, thanks for making it direct and simple.

  • I'll have to wait until my mom and sister get home to be able to do this on our fuzzy girl =3

  • THis is SO weird!

    I'm going ferret crazy...

    WHY?

Hmm...I wonder if they sell Ferrets in Singapore?

  • WOW COOL!

    Ferrets are SO COOL!

    ...

and they dun scream and yowl, howl and moan like my dog Goldie does.

  • it would be horible to cut the red part hopefully never happened :)

  • Yeah! Totally agreed!

  • there is better ways at getting your ferret to stay stil then scruffing!

  • There are better ways than scruffing, you say? Please share them with us!

  • Just putting a drop of Ferretone on their tummies to distract them works as a good alternative.

  • great video ! thanks !

  • To make it a simple one person job just put some Ferretone on their tummy and they'll usually be so preoccupied to lick it up that you can trim their nails without them even noticing.

  • I tried that, grumpybb, but my little one skips off and does a happy "you can't catch me!" dance and sound.

  • ty you should make more about other care methods

  • That was so stupid! I loved it!

  • Very helpful, Thanks for posting!

  • Cool vid. Very helpful for new ferret owners like my son & I. Thanks.

  • great vid good info to know but I think that is really the only way to do right without putin your buddy thru too much stress.
