  • Shout rating = *thumbs up*

  • culveyhouse, check out the vid of this mod: TESV Skyrim - World Map in Full 3D

  • awesome rating system culvey!

  • would you consider the midas magic, Phenderix Magic, Deadly Dragons, and wars in skyrim mods? or do you only care about appearances?

  • Hey Culvey, try downloading and installing RWT through NMM. Not only does it work great that way, but it also has different configurations options that you can chose from right in NMM. It's one of the simplest mods to install actually, and no need to do it manually the way you were describing.

  • @culveyhouse so, in the walkthrough, are you using all the mods you showed us ? Are you actually using them ?

  • @andrewGhini

He started using SkyUI for a few vids already.

  • I wish i had a pc....

Anyway, @culveyhouse, do you think youll be making any mods for the game? Just curious.

  • Love the shouts.

I have tried all the mods you have reviewed.

The texture mods were nice - but, I think ones that give a better long distance view would be of interest (maybe a review?)

SkyUI and Map with roads - - I don't leave home without them!

    Excellent review Culvey Thankyou!

  • Like the video, but I would suggest rethinking your rating scheme slightly. Mostly I feel that the "wow" factor might not be the best thing to rate. For example, at the end of the day, a map mod just won't be able to create the "wow" reaction that other mods might. It may be done with fantastic attention to detail, and be of high quality, yet not produce the same "wow!" that a texture pack can. It is still worth downloading though. cont.

  • @Thundermonk99 I would suggest something like a "quality" and "scope" rating. That way, a small but excellently done mod would score well in quality, but lower in scope, while a mod like 2k textures (which is massive) would be recognized for its depth.

  • @Thundermonk99 I already rate the mods on a variety of criteria, not just the r criteria you saw here. I just didn't add all of them because it would get monotonous. This is the final rating system, i'm sure it will work out fine. P.s. it will be very rare that a mod gets three shouts. ;)

  • ? You can download the RWT with NMM so it's not really messy with moving folders and such...

  • Nice one culvey keep them coming ;)

  • Hey are you going to be doing any quest mods or weapon mods that come out?

  • Fix for the bug @ 5:15 ... uninstall the beta update, roll back SKSE to the previous release version. SkyUI hasnt been updated since 1.3.1 was released.

  • @RicochetSaw Absolutely not. Thx for the input, but the Beta update is very very useful and critical for me, since there are tons of performance optimizations. Those are far more important than rolling it back for Skyui.

  • @culveyhouse I ended up rolling back due to the beta being extremely crashy for me. :-\

  • Love your new shout rating system Culvey, and another great video. Ok, a few questions for you...will you be doing any modding yourself with the Creation Kit when it comes out and if so, will you be doing videos of this? With your Oblivion experiences, how many mods would you expect to have on Skyrim after a few years, and with that in mind, do you also back up to external hard drives? (I am using restore points as well with each mod installed as you suggested)

  • :( Why don't i have a powerful computer for this. Damn PS3 shitty specs. I want the 2K textures and the improved maps and roads T__T Imma go sulk now.

  • I love this series

  • Great video culvey!! I always enjoy your videos

  • i cant wait until they come out with the chat UI for skyui, the vanilla is buggy as sheet

  • @ArcheysGames Yeah man, I'll have to figure out how to handle mod updates too... maybe I'll tack those on to the ending.

  • @culveyhouse Or maybe you could just make some kind of short video, in which you present the updates.

  • I watched it anyway, even though I don't have a computer of my own :D

  • @MrLousyninja Yes in the comments

  • i waited a long time for this video.. didn't wait in vain :)

i felt like "A Quality World Map - With Roads" (lol) should have gotten "a three word shout", really, what kind of wow factor did you expect from a map mod.. i prefer my map non-blingbling style.

  • I find your voice way too soothing D:<

  • Hey! When I ask the realistic colours and real nights if I can use their mod with the realistic shaders mod and they said "it's compatible, but if it uses the ENB series you need to proxy the .dll! "

Can you tell me if it uses ENB since I dont know what that is and what does proxy the .dll mean?

  • Maybe you should put annotations in the desc to say the time in the video where one mod ends and another begins?

  • i like the shout raiting!

  • Would viewers be able to suggest mods?

  • Excellent video man, keep it up.

  • Great vid!!

  • @GooserFive Glad you liked it, sorry it was so late. :)

  • coolness of this video is too damn high !

  • @andrewGhini aww thx!

  • nice as soon as i get my intel core i7 and 2xgtx 570 SLI i will play this game 25/8

  • hi there
