At the end it looks like she has a mustache it doesn't look creepy at all. However when I first heard the song about 10 years ago when I first got the CD it scared me. Creepy song.
does anyone else get a little bit scared at the end by the expression on her face when she's wiping the blood away lol. I LOVE this song but this kinda freaks me out a tad.
when i bought this CD, the last lyric of the final song in the linear notes is: "I ran and I ran, I'm still running TODAY." Not AWAY. Has anyone else been curious if it's meant to be a teensy brainfart/enigma, or if it was simply a typo???
I could care less about this "video." It's bizarre, to say the least. But the poetry in the lyrics of the song itself are breathtaking.
I think she meant that she is still running, today, away from the reality and ugliness of her Mother's death as well as other things. I don't think that Madonna makes those kinds of mistakes with her art anymore.
And why do people say thay could care less? The expression should be "I couldn't care less", meaning that you don't care. If you "care less", that means you care. Now that's a question.
Madonna has always been deep into the Occult and dosent hide it.
This album reveals alot about her belifes in Pre-Celtic Paganism and Gaia worship.
The music video and lyrics for the songs, strongly portray her as a type of Banshee called the Morrigan. Which is also vary similar to a black "Valkyrie" goddess.
In her last song she does show some form of shame for her iniquities. What that might be is the murder and/or sacrifice of a young Warrior (Soldier). I hope im wrong. :(
my favorite song and this video adds to the mood.

I think that this music reveals more about Madonna than any other music or fact in her life. It's about her life, her carrer and else.
