how can i improve my pull ups, push ups,i can do 5 but i work 10 hrs aday 6 days drive 100 mile a day for work do you think i could find time or routine to get to this level
Damn He a Monster on the Bars. Puitting it down for the Big Man. His Stamina is incredible. I alsway imagine their will come a time in my life that Hanging on to a bar for survival will come and im not even ready for it.This is inspiration for me to do my thing.
Great show of Body power!real power- there are many people tarining in gym lifthing a tons, but they cant do 5 pull ups! Here we have great athlets who can prove and show a real power!!!great video!
All these dudes on here making comments about steroids are all jealous fagotts. These dudes are all natural stop hating you fucking fagotts. BARTENDAZ all they way.
Of course they are natural this is all they do all day. I would imagine that not many floor traders on the futures exchange, financial analysists for goldman sachs or commodities traders are in this crowd that work everyday from 4:30am to 11:30pm
If ya get some time, check out my latest video on body weight body transformation, anybody can become frecken tough like this bro here... again respect!
If you take the fact that the psoas muscles are the major movers when walking, these are heavily trained on the bars especially when raising the knees up or extending the feet. But the quads and calves are not hit much at all, you're right. But I seen them doing other things in between sets on the bars, like 1 leg squats, jumping jacks, free squats etc. Push ups hit the quads good and they do tons of them.
Has anyone bought any of their videos because I am going to get one but, there are three different ones and I am not sure which to get. If anyone can shed some knowledge on my that would be great. Thanks

I met GIANT in the gym yesterday he showed me some of the basics and I bought the video, but I didnt find out if I should rest every other day or not.
this looks oddly familiar....only this time my peoples are doin it....hmmm..ghetto gymnastics??? :P it's cool doe but it def ain't new... it's like gymnastics in da hood, lmao
hey man i tried for the first time doing this at a playground around my area lol i couldn't even lift my self up man all i did was get my legs off the ground and even that hurt my arms i was frustrated kept going back but nothing same results i weigh about 240 pounds or somethin i'm over weight but does this stuff help u lose weight ?????
not as much as jogging and other stuff in which you get really sweaty . Just do both , if u suck at running go walking fast , just make ur self get tired and sweaty , but do pullups aswell , theyr good for ur back muscles.
it wouldnt hurt to start small but still id recommend more aerobic exercise first to get some weight off. this is good for toning muscle but it probably wouldnt show with too much excess weight
I never intended to start a debate about whether weights or calisthenics were better. The fact is what these guys do works and the same for gymnasts.
Chodykumbra- Just look at Mariusz, 4 times worlds strongest man, boxer, martial artist, and very flexible. Doing calisthenics doesnt make you stronger than i strongman and doing strongman doesnt make you a worse fighter than someone who calithenics- it all depends on the individual.
I would say a guy like that is the exception. Imay very well be wrong but what i have heard about fight training, weight training is used but more for strentgh endurance very high rep training, and obviously calisthenics. A fighters muscles need to be loose and conditioned. The main thing a fighter must be concerned with is his core strenght just like most athletes. Fighters want functional strength, that comes from calisthenics, plyometrics, and high rep strength training, and conditioning.
Im sure most of them could. Jesse Marunde could do about 22 pullups and clapping pullups at a bodyweight of around 310lb. Dont get all strongmen confused with the likes of Glenn Ross lol he's strong as hell but fat as hell too! Especially the older competitors like Kaz, Capes, Sigmarson etc they were athletic
because working with bodyweight efficiently will get you a hell of a lot stronger than weights. Why? Look up any male gymnast and you have your answer
I know what you mean but i dont agree, i mean i bet none of these dudes can pull an 800 dead for example. Thats why pro strongmen use weights not bodyweight to get strong (but of course that is what there events entail)
oh yeah? I'm betting some might be able to get close:
"One of my former students, JJ Gregory (1993 Junior National Champion on the Still Rings) developed such a high degree of strength from my bodyweight conditioning program that on his first day in his high school weightlifting class he deadlifted 400lbs., and this at the scale breaking weight of 135 lbs. and a height of 5'3". "
--Christopher Sommer, professional gymnastics coach for 25+ years in Arizona
and i know it's not 800 lbs, 800 lbs is a huge deadlift, but if you think gymnasts can't lift a ton of weight...hah. I know one at 165 pounds who can rep over 350 pounds on bench and he barely ever benches.
I dont doubt it. Im sure what your saying is true. Guys like doug hepburn could do hand stands etc which alot of heavyweight lifters today couldnt do. Why you think bodyweight trainings is not more popular though? Better on the joints, more flexability, more endurance...
Yeah exactly..who knows. I think it has to do with ignorance. People have this belief that bodyweight is inferior to free weights for some reason. The problem with it is that most people don't know how to effectively load their joints/muscles to make it seem like more weight is being added without..that and after awhile, most bodyweight stuff is extremely hard and most people are lazy and don't want to have to work to do the exercises (even though they can be amazing for you).
People who lift aren't necessarily versed at calisthenics. You should train for what you do. If you want to pick shit up and put it back down competitively you need to implement that into your workout.
I understand wut u are sayin. Their is a strong difference between calis. and wieght. Wieght usually isolates muscle so that one muscle is getting a direct work out. Calis. Use a whole bunch of little muscle and big at the same that you would for performance in a sport. But just for getting big weights are the way to go.
the point is who care is he could 800 pound deadlift. A strong mans stiff injury prone body would get broke off by a solid fighter that has functional strength
Why would they get pissed off? We are showing them how to utilize the jungle gym for its proper intentions, exercise! Remember Health is Wealth and Movement is Medicine! The build these jungle equipment in the parks, but no one is there to instruct the kids what they should be doin on them, well here comes the BAR-TENDAZ! Peace Chipsdw
I need some of the bigger guys around to see this cause everytime they see a person like myself on the bar the 1st thing they say is " Oh well Im way bigger then you"
