he did the voice for the documentary "What if Cannabis Cured Cancer" it was great i watched it baked and his voice is so soothing lol. and yes people weed cures multiple types of cancers look it up. the reason drug companies wont get into this miracle plant is because they cant make money off of it. and pharmaceutical is a 200 billion dollar a year industry so0o0oo00o0o00o?!?!?!?!
@theresumespot Yes, i know he's the voice in the iPad commercials. I've just said that he has a pleasant voice. That was the point of my post. But, I would suggest, by no stretch of fan club exaggeration hyperbole could it be called "amazing".
Well, yes, his voice is nice. But surely 50 million other Americans sound nice. To me, it's not notable. John Houseman had a notable voice. Ben Stein, he has a notable voice. David Ogden Stiers. The guy in Boston Legal who played Lincoln. In fact, what about Rene Auberjonois.
But, if I were choosing for, say, an Apple video commercial, I'd go for the British first: Chris Barrie, Hugh Grant, Richard Wilson (One Foot in the Grave) or Stephen Fry.
That was a very deep and positive message... I always agreed with it, being an artist myself (sounds like a cliche' I know) I felt that the school system and then some always downplays the arts.
Yes, Peter was the man with the keys in ET. And a good friend of mine, I'm happy to say. This is the complete interview. I was the interviewer, but I basically asked only one question and then Peter went on a wonderful roll. He feels that passionately about the arts, creativity and the power of the imagination and articulates it all cogently and poetically.
This interview was shot on March 17, 2009 at the Marin County home office of Peter Coyote. Interview by Michael Nolan with the Ideas in Motion crew of John Rogers and Jim Mayer. Edited by Rogers. On behalf of the National Campaign to Hire Artists to Work in Schools and Communities.
@mikeyno62141 Thanks for the detail :), any idea where the whole interview's available? I've been looking for different Peter Coyote videos, doesn't look like there's alot of stuff available.
It's mesmerizing listening to this guy, always very insightful.
why can't a person create without Gov. funds?
danahsutton101 1 month ago
@danahsutton101 They can. They do.

Art should stand on it's own without Gov. welfare money.
Nazi Germany used the arts to promote their view.
Our liberal Gov. should not push their propaganda through tax money suported art.

He has a rather pleasant speaking voice. He sounds rather like Tom Hanks.

I agree: we need the arts to be taught and emphasized in our public schools, and in society at large.
