I've always qiute liked the structure of the song, well, mostly the transition from to the chorus and the chorus itself, but the song overal has too much 'metal' in it for me to listen to it alot....i prefer usually slower versions, without the rythm of the original, so that's why i dont really like this one more than the original
You're messing the intro riff up a bit. The last two notes don't have the lowered octave D between them. so instead of D#,d,D,d,E,d,D,d it's D#,d,D,d,E,D,d. If you don't understand I can try and rephrase it...

That is not the intro at all. The D is supposed to be off beat and you playing it like that makes it sound like shit
supersmashgod444 2 years ago
as I explained I left out the C because it would get messy to play, definately on an electric piano.
MuseMatt 2 years ago
better then what i'd have done ;)

Matt originally wrote the guitar and bass to this song on piano, he does that for a lot of songs
Vlodrak 2 years ago

geo837ma 2 years ago

the last D of the riff is too late :)
mxpredator 2 years ago

I think you're missing a note in the riff...
Lordiisgod 4 years ago 3
I am, (you're talking about one C in the riff right?) I actually had to leave that one out, because it would sound very messy.
MuseMatt 4 years ago
I don't really know of any music, but it's probably a C.
Lordiisgod 4 years ago
I know what u meant :) you're right but I chose to :) I hope you still like the cover! Cheers

It's my all-time favorite Muse song.
BrockSolid 4 years ago
I've been trying this for a bit, but I'm not sure how I'll do that one, possibly along with the original track, we'll see.
MuseMatt 4 years ago
pretty well done...seems to be a little off beat at times though...but still nice.
Chris112389 4 years ago
Sweeet.. Still i would have liked the version without the drums and other instrumental effects.
cns4nis 4 years ago
thx :) The song is much easier to play with a track like that, hence me playing along to it :)
