  • I love these crazy Sierra adventures. Damn shame no one makes games like this anymore.

  • The soundtrack of the "Sacks" store reminds me a bit of Sega's Street of Rage kind of tune.

  • Oh by the way you're abut to be fired!

  • Epic Fail. You couldn't completely climb the esccilator (sp).

  • omg this is so hilarious ! got to get it !! Ohw.. that beat at the Gym is pretty cool !

  • "you obviously dont resemble a blonde woman - what a surprise" well he could of either had a sex change or he could of remembered his chip and pin code...

  • They seem to have every sequel of this game available on piratebay.

  • God this brings back memories. I actually found my old copy of SQ4. Its on four dusty old floppy discs, the labels stained yellow from cigarette smoke....

  • Maybe it would be unwise to order a Bacon Burger!

  • no multiplayer was the shit back then

  • @roofy2k yea dial up was slower than posting a letter in those days.

  • I agree with the person wh was disappointed we didnt see the bargain bin games (it came for the dessert) and the burger making sequence AND the arcade game.

  • This video brings back so many memories, this was always my favorite part of the game. I was only 4 or 5 when my older brother got this game so I'm sure I didn't fully understand what was going on but I had lots of fun walking around.

  • See Radio Shock store 8:29, but mine is Hz. So Good store ... ?

  • Radio Shock? In my game I bought from gog.com, the place is called Hz something instead. Wonder why the change in name?

  • IMO this was one of the best parts of the entire SQ adventure series! <3

  • That alien at 0:10-1:30 is kinda cute for some reason.

  • VC: Why didn't you look at all the bargain bin games? And why did you skip the burger making sequence where you can talk to, smell, and taste all the ingredients? Those are two of the funniest parts in the game.

  • Great voice acting for a VGA-era game (don't get me wrong, I love that era as much as anyone, but in most games with speech the acting was ATROCIOUS.).

  • 0:18

Oh and how about seirra on the amiga ???

almost every other game on the amiga is better than seirra's retarded

    creations

  • That boar at Monolith Burger reminds me of Chuck "Porky" Mitchell from Porky's. Hehe

  • LLOOLL!! words, can't describe how funny this is...

    "Oooohh... 38.."

"I don't know if we're right about that."

"Uh-I...uh, I'm not sure but, she's built... about like me."

This game is REALLY impressive for its time.

  • lol I miss all the reading, some of the voices are okay, the hint book part was right on lol.

  • ATM with a "clean it out" option.

  • He was talking all gayish lol!

  • why didn't you play the making monolith burgers minigame that was an awesome and cool way to make more cash?

  • sdfgdfg

  • The music that begins at 5:23 is ill. I had the game on floppies, though. :( Peace.

  • ...By the way, you about to be fired.

Love the comedy in this game!

  • "You're FIRED!! My janitor could do a better job than YOU could!"

That was priceless, considering Roger's beginnings...

  • Roger makes a very pretty lady.

  • Look him when he walks

    hahahaha

  • I swear, Space Quest has to be the spiritual prequel to Futurama...the humor is just so interchangeable, it's great.

  • Did you ever notice that Zapp Brannigan is like, REALLY similar to Quirk from SQ 5?

  • @Scike That's just so right, couldn't agree more

  • @Scike

  • @Scike

YES AND ROGER WILKO WAS A PROTOTYPE OF FRY!!!!!!!!!!! NOW I SEE IT. The idea of futurama had been stolen from SQ series!!! Roger Wilko is FRY!!!!!!!

  • I see rog wilco's going for the Pete Burns look XD

  • lol roger wilco dresses as a woman...

  • rofl. "that will be 60 buckazoids, sicko."

  • i love this game is that the a noun sir from con n o brain it sounds like sounds like it. joule thats the one who whos happy about ever thing.

  • Jeez! LOL I forgot how fun this game is. The hint book scene....

  • In Saks, there's a special thing you do after you get "dolled up" to let you dance with the robo-mannequins. It's hilarious! I love the way Roger walks when he's wearin' that dress. SQ4 is a little grim, but it is a lot of fun!

  • 1:36 - Leisure Suit Larry theme tune cameo!

  • They had the Quest for Glory theme as well.

  • Great to see a playthrough i got stuck on that game way back and now i think i´ll try it again. I might check the rest if i get stuck again :D

  • 7:35 LOL Crossdresser!

  • Some of these old DOS games were nutty.

  • Heh heh, nice cliffhanger.

"Oh no, it's the sequel po'!"

  • "We're all sold out of Sierra Games"

Awfully high opion of themselves. These ARE the people who promised us a SQ7 and failed to deliver, right?

  • @ReverendSyn

Plugging your company in your own game is not unusual. It's more of a point of humor. They pushed for part 7 but Vivendi cancelled it. They had no control over that decision.

  • @ReverendSyn

    Just an In-Joke. Relax.

Adventure games were no longer sellable by that time, so they cancelled SQ7.

  • @ReverendSyn They promised much more with the whole Space Quest XII and Space Quest X. Where's Space quest 8, 9, and 11 also!

  • @ReverendSyn your mom fucked my dick nigger faggot

  • @rishva Ha ha. Highly unlikely.

Why are you so defensive of a company that pretty much threw fans like you and me under the bus and quit making adventure games altogether? Adventure games made Sierra a success. But with the advent of First Person Shooters, Adventure games are a thing of the past.

I loved the Space Quest series. But Sierra doesn't give a shit about us anymore. They promised us a SQ7 and reneged on it.

  • @ReverendSyn

To be fair, this WAS back when Sierra was on top of their game.

  • @ReverendSyn The Sierra of 1991 (who produced SQ4) was totally different from Sierra in 1998 (cancelled SQ7). In '91 Sierra was an independent company which was run by Ken Williams who had founded the company. In '98 Sierra was owned by another company called Cendant and Ken had resigned as CEO, and the new management weren't interested in adventure games.

  • The best part is when you go back in to Monolith in drag and try to apply for a job.

  • Trying to leave the mall in drag is funny, too.

  • Best game ever :)

  • Dude, you didn't talk to the condiments

  • "Very lovely honey, it's made for ya. Now would you like us to wrap it up, or would your special someone prefer you to wear it home?"

"I think I'll wear it home."

"Just as we thought. That's sixty buckazoids, sicko."

hahaha, classic stuff! Games don't get any funnier then this these days XD

  • What happens if you don't pay and just run out?

  • Roger will be electrocuted by lasers or something.

"Thanks for playing Space Quest IV. As usual, you've been a real pantload!" XD

  • You'll get kicked out without the thing you took.

  • You edited out one of my all-time favorite Space Quest mini-game sequences!

  • I couldn't play it too but I'm so happy I can watch it now. Thank You so much!

  • HAHAH the guest for glory theme music is in the background when he enters the software store

  • Man, you've really gotta fight with those walkways sometimes.

  • I like when he gets the wig and dress.

  • Classic game!! Wow!
