  • That dude has soul! I have a NOS rs-4 with the Lollars. Much more git for the money than a Gibson. I love Gibbys and have been on a quest for too many years to find the right one with that right neck. I stumble across an rs-4 in Cherry Burst. The best git fiddle I have ever loved. The neck is arrow straight--low action and tone is the best--will play any genre with the right amp. Unplugged is a joy---expressive and articulate.

  • Never thought I'd see the day! LOL Job well done! I saw these and I thought that the craftsmanship was outstanding but the cost where I saw them was prohibitive.

  • I have a lefty RS-4 I love play it every day very well built and sounds and plays great

  • I have this guitar and it's absolutely amazing. Mine is the amber finish, though. Pure beauty; both in looks and sound.

  • I am so pleased to see and hear how good this guitar sounds. This is Youtube where audio and video quality take a back seat to content. When I watch this video ON MY LAPTOP, the Larrivee sounds really good. A lot of things have to happen to make that work. Good guitar, good hands, good amp, good mic and good recording.

Please note the Wes Dooley R84 ribbon mic on Josh's amp. I think it's one of the best sounding mics for guitar amps (among other things).

  • That is one great guitar. Sounds better than a Paul. Thanks for the demo Josh. Always a treat to hear you play.
