1988 Mercury Topaz Commercial

my friend Ryan has a 1989 Mercury Topaz GS with an addition of a spoiler he got from the junkyard. Youtune ILoveSubwoofers and 1989 Mercury Topaz GS Tribute. The car got a new tranny few years ago

I had one as my first car. I loved the way the car responded to every input so predictably that I could out handle on almost any road condition most other cars. A real tough car that finally met it's end when someone drove it into the ditch and hit a driveway at 50 to 70 kms/hr. Reset the fuel pump and drove it home to check out the damage.

I think it is difficult to grasp what a complete pile of shit this car was.

@miamad It wasnt that bad. we had one for a winter car. We saw a dude with his brand new mustang in the ditch, while we drove by. The car keeps going with 250 k and it always keeps the heat pumping

That is a 1988 Topaz at least. But it could also be a 1989, 1990, or 1991. Not a '87 though.
