If I remember correctly, this is from "Anatomy of a Shark Bite" which first aired on the Discovery Channel during Shark Week several years ago. The guy is trained to study sharks and has frequently conducted research in such a manner. He states that in this situation the sharks often bump around like that and sometimes take an "exploratory nip." However this shark did not stop at that. all you people saying he was stupid are ignorant of the true context. Risk is an inherent part of research.
