Now they need a Rachet and Clank and Kingdom Hearts HD collection and ill be happy. Got the Jak and Daxter HD collection today for an early valentines gift and about half way through the first one. Its great playing through them again after so long.

I 100% agree with you! I too grew up With Games like Jak, and Crash but also Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, Castlevania, Zelda, Mario, Metal Gear Solid, & Pokemon. It's like a lot of publishers push towards FPS, & Multiplayer. FPS games are getting stale. It's about time we see more Jak

@ATwiz02 I didn't think All 4 One was too bad......it was still kind of a cop out just for the sake of 4 player co-op.....I think they should have made a traditional Ratchet & Clank game with multi player similar to the original trilogy then have A4O as a PSN title like Quest for Booty.

I think I'm the only one that doesn't like Jak and Daxter. I wish Naughty Dog still had the rights to Crash Bandicoot. If they did, then we'd have a Crash 15 year anniversary HD collection. Now THAT would be something to get excited over imo.

I agree with your logic, NaughtyDog do release their games by console gen, and Uncharted 4 should wait until the PS4. What im wondering why dont they release a Jak 4, since Suckerpunch are releasing Sly Cooper 4, and Insomiac is releasing the Ratchet games. This current generation of consoles, are so focus on trying to release shooters, charging you constantly on half-assed games, and im tired of it.
Sony is the king of making great exclusives, and the PS2 was one of princes. Now the PS3 have great exclusives too, but nothing is gonna feel the nostalgic feeling of playing Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, or even Ratchet & Clank.

@NeoGameSpark another thing about uncharted especially uncharted is that it was a VERY short game in my opinion i completed uncharted 3 in about 8 and half to 9 hours on hard!...which is kinda disappointing for a game i paid over 70 euros for because of the special edition and the jjak series it was good long gameplay that lasted longer for me

I still remember playing the first one back in like 2002/03 and I liked how innovative it was, I remember it reminded me of Mario 64 cause you had to find like 120 Sun glove thingys.

The thing I liked about Jak and Daxter was it's humor, I think it was the best humor in video games even unto this day. The game just had genius writing.
Jak and Daxter is one of my favorite gaming franchises. I even went out (on foot), ran for two-three miles, just to get the The Lost Frontier. The game was ok.
I'd love to see a sand box/open world game with the Uncharted gameplay from Naughty dog. Like Ubisoft did with Assassin's Creed with the gameplay of PRince of Persia. Anyway good video NGS ;)
The PS2 is the greatest system I've owned, so far. I had more fun with my PS2 than I do with my PS3, though PS3 is an upgrade. It's the only console that's still on shelves, it outlasted Xbox, Gamecube, all of them. All of my favorite games started on PS2, "Kingdom Hearts", "Grand Theft Auto", and "Bully". I like other games but those are games that keep me playing.
I loved all three main games, as well as Jak X and Daxter, but i actually think that Jak and Daxter 1 was the best game, because of how well the game was designed. I loved the second and third games, but the first game will always have a place in my heart!
i agree NGS... remember my parents promising to get me a ps2 for xmas and as i was browsing through flyers to see what game i wanted... i saw the cover for Jak II and for some reason wanted that so badly. (i wanted Jak 1 when ps2 came out but it was really expensive at te time) and when finally got ps2 with jak2, i was so happy :) Love te game also. Ill be gettin the hd collection for missing out on jak 1.
And did you like Daxter, cause you didn't really comment on it, I thought it was ok, not as good as the other three, but it had its moments, it had better boss battles then first game.
You get major respect from me for loving the Jak and Daxter series, I recently beat the first game for the first time, and am currently working on the second, cause I haven't beat it yet(but I did beat the third game first, not something I would do now) but I'm not a huge fan of the first game, its good, but not great like Jak 2 and 3. I personally love all the stuff they added in jak 2, Dark jak, Guns, Jak not being mute(I don't like most mute characters) and making him a much better character.
I would love to see the revival of crash bandicoot. Bring back the old style game-play and spice it up a bit. With games like donkeykong country returns, new super mario brothers, sonic generations classic sonic revival. I would love to see a new ps1 style crash bandicoot.
I never had a PS2, I had a GameCube as a kid. So I grew up with Sonic on the GameCube. Not even going to lie, but I have always wanted to play the Sly games and Jak& Daxter games. I played the Daxter game on PSP (never completed it) and it was good. Probably buy the Sly collection...
I'd rather see a new IP, because a new IP could be anything. I also like that Naughty Dog makes new IPs every console gen, because it keeps things fresh.
I hope there is another Jak game, I hated TLF it was a piece of shit. I'm not holding my breath though, just think Naughty Dog is the only company that can make a Jak game well (unless Ready at Dawn is in on it).
Yeah Naughty dog's philosoly is kind of stupid. Thats why your right about Nintendo at least they continue their series. Hontesly Naughty dog you forget that your older series is what got your name up there and Uncharted is only an 8 hour rip off of Indania Jones trying to be the next shooter out there. Jak and Daxter, as well as Sly cooper are both great series that I treasure alot. However, with Sly's newest game coming out in the future it sort of has me worried. I mean maybe they should just leave these series where they lay, I mean they are really good but sometimes bringing back games might not be a good idea and both have already had their 3rd game(and to defend the uncharted series I think naughty dog claimed it was th last one). BUT original games, I agree, we need more of those.
@baschofdalmasca282 I can see where you are coming from. Sometimes it is better of to leave a series alone. However, in the case of Donkey Kong Country, Retro Studios managed to capture what made the original titles so exhilarating so many years ago.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried for Sly 4 but after seeing some game play by Sanzaru Games, I think we will all be OK.
@NeoGameSpark actually from recent interview and first looks from the recent game informer....sly cooper 4 is looking to be actually turning out good and has potential for good story apparently even though there is cause for concern i highly doubt that they would mess things up... especially being able to use your own ancestors in missions or out on the field which on Sly3 we couldn't do so with Guru and etc
@NeoGameSpark I agree. I honestly loved Donkey Kong Country Returns even more than the original trilogy. Rare wasn't going to do it because they're with MS now and with Kinect development, I've completely lost faith in them.
For Jak 4, I would love to see ND develop it but if they can't, maybe a new developer should take over it. Sure a game will be a little different when another company is working on it, that's obvious. But you never know if it'll turn out even better.

It's the only console that's still on shelves, it outlasted Xbox, Gamecube, all of them. All of my favorite games started on PS2, "Kingdom Hearts", "Grand Theft Auto", and "Bully". I like other games but those are games that keep me playing.

I loved all three main games, as well as Jak X and Daxter, but i actually think that Jak and Daxter 1 was the best game, because of how well the game was designed. I loved the second and third games, but the first game will always have a place in my heart!

i agree NGS... remember my parents promising to get me a ps2 for xmas and as i was browsing through flyers to see what game i wanted... i saw the cover for Jak II and for some reason wanted that so badly. (i wanted Jak 1 when ps2 came out but it was really expensive at te time) and when finally got ps2 with jak2, i was so happy :) Love te game also. Ill be gettin the hd collection for missing out on jak 1.

You get major respect from me for loving the Jak and Daxter series, I recently beat the first game for the first time, and am currently working on the second, cause I haven't beat it yet(but I did beat the third game first, not something I would do now) but I'm not a huge fan of the first game, its good, but not great like Jak 2 and 3. I personally love all the stuff they added in jak 2, Dark jak, Guns, Jak not being mute(I don't like most mute characters) and making him a much better character.

I would love to see the revival of crash bandicoot. Bring back the old style game-play and spice it up a bit. With games like donkeykong country returns, new super mario brothers, sonic generations classic sonic revival. I would love to see a new ps1 style crash bandicoot.

I never had a PS2, I had a GameCube as a kid. So I grew up with Sonic on the GameCube. Not even going to lie, but I have always wanted to play the Sly games and Jak& Daxter games. I played the Daxter game on PSP (never completed it) and it was good. Probably buy the Sly collection...

I hope there is another Jak game, I hated TLF it was a piece of shit. I'm not holding my breath though, just think Naughty Dog is the only company that can make a Jak game well (unless Ready at Dawn is in on it).

Yeah Naughty dog's philosoly is kind of stupid. Thats why your right about Nintendo at least they continue their series. Hontesly Naughty dog you forget that your older series is what got your name up there and Uncharted is only an 8 hour rip off of Indania Jones trying to be the next shooter out there. I mean Jak and Daxter is one of my favorite games you should be contining that series. Also they leave a fanbase behind ever time they start a new Ip.

Jak and Daxter, as well as Sly cooper are both great series that I treasure alot. However, with Sly's newest game coming out in the future it sort of has me worried. I mean maybe they should just leave these series where they lay, I mean they are really good but sometimes bringing back games might not be a good idea and both have already had their 3rd game(and to defend the uncharted series I think naughty dog claimed it was th last one). BUT original games, I agree, we need more of those.

@baschofdalmasca282 I can see where you are coming from. Sometimes it is better of to leave a series alone. However, in the case of Donkey Kong Country, Retro Studios managed to capture what made the original titles so exhilarating so many years ago.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried for Sly 4 but after seeing some game play by Sanzaru Games, I think we will all be OK.

@NeoGameSpark actually from recent interview and first looks from the recent game informer....sly cooper 4 is looking to be actually turning out good and has potential for good story apparently even though there is cause for concern i highly doubt that they would mess things up... especially being able to use your own ancestors in missions or out on the field which on Sly3 we couldn't do so with Guru and etc

@NeoGameSpark I agree. I honestly loved Donkey Kong Country Returns even more than the original trilogy. Rare wasn't going to do it because they're with MS now and with Kinect development, I've completely lost faith in them.
For Jak 4, I would love to see ND develop it but if they can't, maybe a new developer should take over it. Sure a game will be a little different when another company is working on it, that's obvious. But you never know if it'll turn out even better.
