  • One MAJOR ERROR amongst many christians is this, the idea that Jesus Chrsit is going to "Rapture the church. He is going to gather his elect, his chossen ones. The Gospel of LUKE tells us this... [34] I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. [35] Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."

  • The rapture is childish bullshit

  • Ok the misunderstanding here is this: Who do you think is the ELECT? It sounds like replacement theolgy! Ofcourse everyone must accept Jesus to be saved and the Jews WILL after the Tribulation but remember its God himself who has blinded the Jews to the truth of Jesus Dont be decieved, God still loves the Jews and WILL deal with them. He wont allow them to perish for a confusion that HE placed on them! What kinda God is that? Its because the Jews that all of us might be saved SHOW SOME RESPECT!

  • Q) Who do you think is the ELECT?

    A) "What Israel sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did." Romans 11:7

We, the Church, are the Elect.

  • No I disagree. I read Romans 11 in context and see the whole chapter is dealing with the Jews. Funny you quote Romans and the whole 11th chapter support all my statements. It even has the verse For who has known the mind of the Lord?! Read in context: the elect of His elect (the Jews) have obtained it and the REST were blinded. Dont be decieved read Romans 11 Its saying exactly what I have said. Dont be boastful with replacement deception against the root instead be thankful and respectful

  • Read Paul's writing carefully, "What Israel sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did." Romans 11:7

I know, "just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction." 2 Peter 3:15-16

  • NO .. sorry! I still disagree. all this reply says to me is that I cant understand Pauls letters and that I am an ignorant and unstable person who distorts scripture which will lead to my own destruction Are you kidding me? You think cause I read hope and incouragement in scripture even if it is a misunderstanding that I am condemned for it? Then also you insult me? It is YOU my friend who disorts scipture & dishonors God with your condemning words!

  • God has two elect groups upon earth -- Israel (Romans 11:28) and the Church (1 Peter 1:2).

  • Not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Romans 9:6

A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God. Romans 2:28-29

  • The signs of Matt 24 are presented to elect Israel. We know this to be true because of the regard for the Sabbath Day (vs. 20), synagogues (Luke 21:12), and because the setting is Jerusalem (vs. 20). These signs are for Israel who is looking for the return of her King in Rev 19. They are not signposts for the Rapture. The gospel mentioned in Matt 24:24 is the gospel of the kingdom that the King is about to return (Rev19:16)

Christians see the beginning of these signs [Luke 21:28]

  • The Church [the Bride of Christ] is not Jewish but composed of all races, peoples and tongues..

Through Salvation; [Galatians 3:28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

  • @richardperry2 Richard true to the context of the verses you showed however to identify anyone in the body of Christ with such titles is frustrating the holy spirit in you because there is no Jew or gentile and the scripture didn't stop there it went on to say there is neither rich nor poor, free or bond. the context there is to let us know there is not identification to the individual because we are all baptised into one spirit. We identify ourselves as the body of Christ.

  • This guy contradicts himself -- Beware

  • i think that berry is teaching alot of truth, but what irratates me is that he's always trying to push his books on everyone. i understand that we all need to make living somehow, but give me a breake... gbu all...

  • How can anyone say the Rapture and resurection happens at the 2nd coming when the 2 witnesses were already resurrected at the midpoint of the tribulation????

  • "How can anyone say the Rapture and resurection happens at the 2nd coming when the 2 witnesses were already resurrected at the midpoint of the tribulation????"

Because the position being taught in this video is wrong. Revelation 3:10. "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth."

  • Is 'being kept from' a prior snatching away or is it physical protection?" First, the Greek word rendered "from" is ek, which means "out of." I'm having a hard time figuring out how believers the world over, living in a time of war (nuclear and otherwise),drought, plague, famine, unprecedented political and financial pressure, and persecution directed specifically at them could be "kept out of the hour of trial" without being removed from the scene. Let's face it: a nuclear bomb is very democratic.

  • The purpose of the Tribulation is to "test those who dwell on the earth." So if believers have not been taken out, they are still, by definition, dwelling on the earth---and thus are subject to testing---something the Philadelphia believers are specifically said to have escaped. The idea of a bunch of believers, having miraculously emerged unscathed from a nuclear blast in, say, downtown Orlando, saying they had been "kept out of the hour of trial" is a stretch I can't make.

  • These hypothetical believers may have escaped being roasted, but they can't say they've escaped the trial.

And then there's the inconvenient little fact that the "physical protection" being theorized is a myth. Believers during the Tribulation will not be protected. They will be martyred by the millions!!! In order for something to be true, no other scriptural verse should be able to refute it.

  • don't be deceive, the Hour of Trial in Rev 3:10 is God's Wrath not the Great Tribulation. Read Matthew 24:29-31. You will understand when the rapture will take place.

  • LOL I already understand. It's you who needs to realize that there are a total of 7 "harvests" in Scripture. This misunderstanding of what's to come is akin to Jews misunderstand their Messiah. They say "He can't be the one because He wasn't the strong king who kicks butt". They don't think that there may be more than one advent. Actually, there are 7 advents in Scripture. And again, in Matt 24 the messengers collect His chosen ones from the HEAVENS-not Earth. They have already been taken!

  • The secret rapture doctrine along with the 2-staged coming of Christ ( one in secret, one in public) is a false doctrine infiltrated by the Jesuits and ordered by the catholic papacy. see it for yourself in this youtube link watch?v=J-bT56dZzGs you'll be in for a surprise as to how long the tentacles of the CC has reached into the Christian church. The Jesuits purpose is to destroy the true Church of God and this is one of their many ways. It is time to wake up and be true witnesses of Chirst.

  • Boy are you in for a surprise.

  • I'm glad to see scripture being preached rightly and clearly.

  • Mr.Perry I sent you some really good chapters and verses on the fact that Jesus has us all dead and alive to be caught up in the air with Him at His return. After our Lord YHWH purifies an cleans this sin polluted world, He will return to our beautiful world to live amongst us once again, forever with Yeshua. We will call our new home, "The New Jerusalem" Always with love, your surf bro.

  • On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, Zech 14:4

  • That happens a thousand years after the second coming of Jesus.

  • PrayerisLoveinaction- AMEN!

  • PrayerisLoveinaction-1 Thess.3:16-18 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, With the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise 1st. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

  • Divineconnections, Amen!

  • PrayerisLoveinaction: I can see that you read and study the Bible yourself dear. Excellent my dear child. Just marvelous to see young ppl learning and teaching Bible truths. God is guiding you correctly. Stay blessed dear one of God. We all love you sweetie.

  • It is true that we will be caught up to meet Him in the air but nowhere does it say that we stay in the air or that Jesus will 'never touch down'. The prophets testify that Christ will have a kingdom on earth.

  • If you read what was said, at His coming.

  • Right, at His coming we will be caught up to meet them in the air. We will in no way precede the dead in Christ who must be resurrected FIRST. Once they are resurrected, THEN we will be caught up in the air to meet them. They go FIRST. According to Paul they are resurrected AT Jesus coming. According to John in Revelation, those in the FIRST resurrection include those who are beheaded for not worshipping or taking the mark of the beast. We don't precede them. They rise FIRST. Blessings.

  • 1Thess.4:15-17 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

  • Exactly! They go first. Those alive at Jesus coming don't precede/prevent/go first...the dead in Christ rise first. Then those who are alive and remain will meet them in the air. The dead in Christ, those in the first resurrection, include those who are beheaded for not taking the mark of the beast. We won't be caught up until after they are raised which means they have to first die as martyrs during the tribulation. Blessings.

  • Do not be deceived! Matthew 24:31 "And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." The elect are gathered from heaven! Not heaven and the earth as you say(2:50). This means the bride is caught up and already in heaven before Jesus comes on the clouds of the sky. Wow! Amen what a hope we have in Christ Jesus.

  • stevesilence, you said "Not heaven and the earth as you say"

Christ said, "And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the Ends of the Earth to the ends of the heavens. Mark 13:27 see earth!

  • There is a difference between "Ends of the Earth" and "Earth". The original greek word for ends or uttermost(KJV) is akron. Akron translates to "the top part of" or literally "from the parts above". So Jesus says, "from the parts above the earth to the parts above the heavens." So what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 24 lines right up with what He said in Mark 13. The Holy Spirit never leaves anything out or contradicts Himself.

  • Mark 13:20 "And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved:but for the elect's sake, which he hath chose,he hath shortened those days." If the elect are in heaven then why would God have to shorten the tribulation period for the elect's sake??

  • Hey shark, That is a very interesting and good point. I had never thought of it that way, but it's true.

  • In that sentence Jesus is referring to the Jews who come to have faith in Jesus after they see anti-christ set himself up in the Temple. "for the elect's sake, WHICH HE HATH CHOSE." In the old testament or Torah Israel is referred many times as the nation he has chosen. Isaiah 41:8- "But thou Israel, art my servant, jacob whom I have CHOSEN..."

  • So you're saying you're not elect? You're not chosen? I don't think I've ever heard a believer say that before.

  • I thought the rapture was first then the tribulation!

  • Man teaches that theory.

But, that's not what the Bible teaches.

Christ said He was coming after the Tribulation, Matthew 24:29-31

  • that man teaching Rush, the fact is the rapture cannot happen until the first Resurrection. which happens on the Day of the Lord. Read Matthew 24-29-31

  • There's no such thing as the day of the Lord. Lord is an ignorant substitution. God's name is Yahuweh. Mankind has edited His name out of His Scriptures and replaced it with "Lord".

"and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." Matt 24;31

They are gathered from Heaven-not Earth. They have already been harvested.

    Think people.

  • This guy is completely ignorant what the bible teaches

    resurection started 2,000 years ago

    With Jesus as the FIRSTFRUITS

firstfruits of what? read verse 21 the resurrection of the dead !!!!!

    I cor 15

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.

Resurrection isnt an event but a person

    John 11:25

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection"

  • No,

The rapture will be mid trib. I am convinced of that because in thess. and matthew and Rev. it is clear that first the two witnesses will be slain, lay killed in the holy city and after three days a voice will call them up to heaven, that voice is the same as the last trumpet and so will the righteous be called up to heaven with the two witnesses and be with the Lord forever.

Then Yisrael will repent and turn to G-d and the spirit shall come into the "flesh and bones"

  • The Church is the Bride of Christ and enjoys the 1,000 year Honeymoon upon earth (chapter 20 vs. 4). They reign as rulers kings and priests..... (1 Peter 2:9 and Rev 1:6).

The 144,000 exclusively serve the Lamb and His Bride. ..... (chapter 14 vs. 4).

The Gentiles saved during the Tribulation Period will be Temple Servants, waiting on Christ and His Bride. They serve in the Glorious Temple ... (described in Ezekiel... chapters 40 -- 48) (Ezekiel 38 and 39).

  • Revelation (that talks about the anti-christ) was written around 90 A.D. WELL AFTER the destruction of the 2nd temple which means talk of fullfillment in 70 A.D. is COMPLETELY FALSE. There will be a literal fullfillment in the 3rd temple in the near future. God Bless those who are waiting and watching. Amen.

  • Daro is correct - there is no New Testament scripture that teaches a re-building of a Temple. The Church is the New Temple and the New Jerusalem.

Richard is INcorrect in assuming that some "first resurrection" is some future event.

Jesus tells us about the 1st Resurrection in John 5:24,25. It is the "passing from death (dead in trespasses & sins) to life" when believers are converted. To one who is converted "the second death (Lake of Fire) has no power".

  • Read 2 Thess 2:4 mentions the temple when he prophecied this future event.

So, do you mean that there is no Second Coming?

  • 2Thess 2:4 -"...so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."

The Temple is no more. Therefore this text has a pre-AD70 fulfillment.

How does "conversion as the 1st Resurrection" mean there is no 2nd Coming?

Acts 1:11 "... Jesus(will) come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."

  • Then how was the 2 Thess 2:4 temple prophecy fulfilled pre-AD70?

Acts 1:11 "... Jesus(will) come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Amen

  • Nero Caesar claimed to be god and demanded to be worshipped and obeyed as such. The ensigns of the Roman troops were erected it the Temple representing Caesar.

Nero was called "The Beast", even by his co-horts, for the abominable evil he did.

  • The Popes have in the past declared themselves to be God.

Even today the Pope is another God on earth, worshipped by billions the world over.

  • Actually there is only ONE resurrection - at the LAST Day.

    See Acts 24:15...John 5:28-29...John 6:39...Matt 25:31-46...1Thess 4:13-17...2Thess 1:7-10...John 6:39,40,44...1Cor 15:23-26

  • The bible talks of the resurrection of the saints, which is the first resurrection. then later talks of the resurrection of the sinners which is the last resurrection of which those will be judged on jugement day at the great white throne judgement.

  • Yes, that is correct. The 1st resurrection takes place at the Second Coming then 1,000 years later is the 2nd resurrection and the White Throne judgement.

  • That cannot be so...the 2 witnesses are resurrected at midpoint of tribulation ..how can they be resurrected at midpoint but some call end of tribulation for the 1st resurrection that just doesnt make any sense.

  • The two witnesses prophecied for three and one half years starting in the middle of the seven years of Jacobs trouble. The first part of the seven years is a time of seeming peace for the Jews, but the antiChrist is consolodating his power the first three years, then he turns on the Jews with a fury after he sets himself up in the temple as God. The Jews will not accept this and vengeance is taken out on the Jews. The two witnesses start midweek 3/1/2 years and are killed and resurrected with us

  • Ah but you got to realise that that last day is a thousand years long.

A thousand years with the Lord is as one day and a day as a thousand years. 2 Peter 3:8; Psalms 90:4.

To the saved it is 1000 years. To the wicked it seems like one day.

There are two literal future resurrections, one for the saved and one for the wicked.

  • daro2096, Amen my dear brother! This poor man has been deceived and taught mans traditions. And now Richard is teaching and deceiving others, I will pray for him. With prayers and love, Pamela.

  • Thanks, my dear sister.

I too must pray for these deceived Christians.

  • The temple is the people of God.

Yes there will be a second coming. All the angels(trillions of them) and the Father will be coming too but they are not staying here or why would Paul write we will be caught up into the air to meet Jesus?

  • Comment removed

  • No, there is a future resurrection of the saved in the Christ. In order to be resurrected you have to be dead first. When I say dead I mean dead as in decomposed, buried in the ground, pushing up the daisies and so on.

  • Thanks for the comment. This I believe:

The Great Tribulation starts when the Antichrist proclaims that he is God in the 3rd Jewish Temple, 3 1/2 years from the End of the Age.

Yes, Christ's return is at the 7th seal and at the 7th and Last Trumpet.

  • There won't be a third Jewish temple. You are misapplying what Paul wrote. Paul never wrote that Antichrist would sit in a literal temple. Paul says the temple is the people of God(2 Corinthians 6:16). The Antichrist would rise up amoung the people(or church) of God, sitting in the temple(sitting means being in a position of power not actually literal sitting in a chair) proclaiming himself to be God(by his actions).

  • (cont)

If you read the Bible it doesn't actually say he will literally walk into a temple, sit down in a chair and speak saying 'I am God.'

  • Keep in mind that all fulfilled biblical prophecy has been fulfilled in a literal historical sence and God does not change. So, I would expect to see a literal Temple built in the near future. We'll just have to keep watch and see. Thanks for writin. Richard

  • I agree that Bibical prophecy has been fulfilled in a literal historical sense but the symbols used in the prophecies have to be explained by the Bible. And Antichrist is already here and has been for 2000 years according to John.

But if you read Daniel 9:26-27 it rules out any possiblity of a literal temple in literal Jerusalem right til the end of the age.

As I said the temple of God is the people of God. Every believer becomes a part of the temple and Christ is the foundation.

  • (cont)

If they started to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem that would set off world war 3.

  • Didn't the great tribulation begin during the dark ages?

It has been esitmated that up to a hundred million Bible believing Christians lost their lives at the stake during the dark ages. The Bible said there would be a pause in the great tribulation, we are living in that pause(I will try to find the Scripture to back up what I said later).

  • great tribulation is the horseman thru the 7th trumpet.

7th trumpet signifies jesus's return then the 144000. 7th seal is the rapture, there is no its all good and poof people vanish. Christ must first be rejected in our generation

  • Can you prove that from the Bible or is it what you been taught to beleive?

  • uh do you READ the bible or listen to john haggee?

    Number one Daniel 12...

    2

7th trumpet the dead are raised and judged.

  • The dead are judged before they are resurrected.

  • prove that with scripture.

  • Read Revelation 22:11, 12. Also Matthew 25(the sheep and the goats). Also Daniel 7:9, 10.

  • wow

  • How does this prove they were judged before they were resurrected?
