Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. Brace yourself for lots of crazy and being completely confused as to what is going on in the first season (this is a good thing).
It's an anime adaption of a visual novel. However, if you read the VN be prepared for sausage fingers; R01 wasn't exactly the most talented artist at the time he made that.
Well, I personally never watch anime online because of the horrible quality, so I can't really give you pointers on that. I'd recommend going to myanimelist, searching up the name of the anime, then scroll down to the part that list the fansubber groups and picking the one you like, then googling a torrent with that subbing group. For season 1 I'd recommend Triad and 2nd I'd recommend We are IN denial. Use VLC Player or CCCP if it's an MKV file. WinD's site has the torrent for 2nd season.
