thank you soo much, and i love the colors too. i used coastal scents palette for the green and blue and mac orange for the orange, and a little bit of mac chrome yellow with a little bit of coastal scents shimmery yellow for the inner corner.
I love your make-up and how your inspiration for it came from the natural world. I'm always experimenting with make-up, but I'm never quite sure about where my ideas come from, lol.
You're so, so pretty, too. You're just adorable. You must be a right little heartbreaker. :-)
thank you for your kind words, it really does mean a lot to me. I was actually thinking of doing a series of tutorials on looks that are inspired by things like birds, fish, and flowers.
and yeah, sometimes i am a little heartbreaker, haha.
That's a cool idea. Educational and creative simultaneously. :-] A pelican and maybe a finch would be good choices for the bird category. Seriously, it's a great idea. You could approach your local art gallery/exhibition centre with your idea and tell them it's a visual art exhibition incorporating beauty from the natural world and the synthetic cosmetic world. It might sound a bit daft on paper, but it would be fabulous. Hell, if I lived in America, I would even help you out with setting it up!
hmm... i think i will definitely do a "pretty bird" series. get it, like when you have a bird you always say "pretty bird! pretty bird!" haha at least i do. i suppose i will count this as my first request... i kind of requested it myself, but whatever =P
Ha, ha, yeah, thank God for pretty birds. The ones I encounter the most are robins and blackbirds. Sometimes pigeons (who seem very childlike and nervous)... and crows (who seem shrewd). I'm not exactly in love with crows, but I suppose anyone who has seen Hitchcock's 'The Birds' might understand why! ;-) You *should* do the Pretty Bird make-up series. I...er... I requested it FIRST! Demand must be met by supply. :-p
yeah, my neighbor (ex neighbor as of 2 days ago) had an amazing garden right next to my porch with several bird feeders, and it was always a frenzy of many many different kinds of birds. some drab or awkward, some elegant and beautiful. and okay, i'll try to do one tomorrow! i just did an old hollywood look today (video is up, check it out!), and i feel too pretty in it to take it off and do another look =P
I know, I saw your old Hollywood look video - it's so pretty. The little tiara to top it all off is really cute. :) I've read that Audrey Hepburn contrasted strongly with the glamorous attire she adopted for movie roles; that she was very much a happily pared-down and understated dresser in her ordinary life. I'm sure she looked fabulous no matter what she wore, the lucky thing!

thank you! i was happy to have my coastal scents 88 shimmer and 88 matte palettes, because it was easy to find colors that were exact matches!
