hey everybody, i have a question to ask. be honest and please dont be too cautious. My first bike is an R1, i havent tried it out yet, waiting for it to come. this is my first bike, is there any chance, i mean any chance to start slow and respectfully on that bike and learn step by step? please guide me so i can know. i will take it easy and i will be using it back and forth to my college like about 5-10 minutes away only. thanks

@WeezyIsMusic Hi there, I'm in a very similar situation, I'm hoping this summer to my 1st bike. I've looked through thousands of different bikes and styles of bike, the only one i can settle for is an R1 yet everyone I've spoken to strongly advises me against getting it for a 1st bike. Surely though if I take it carefull, I'll learn in small steps, right? Just because I want an R1 it doesnt mean I intend to hop straight on and open the throttle everywhere! @mrbusybee2710 hey, man do whatever you like, 600 cc or 1000 cc can both kill you. both have top speed of 300 km + so i dont think this matters. just dont look at the guys on the videos, or on the streets too much, because they might be pros, so chill on the throttle. download this video Keith Code Twist of the Wrist vol.2 ! you get everything you need to know there, counter steering, cornering, body position, throttle control etc . . .. :)
