ive been a fan since 2002 and it sucks to see such a good team go to waste like this. i know we have a world series bound team. its just going to take a little bit
rather have it empty then full of bandwagons to be honest. the real A's fans still show up. and plus look where you are sitting. thats why there is no one in the hallway
@the49ERSALLDAY if you knew what you were talking about, you'd know that wolff has consistently talked shit bout oakland, keeps threatening to leave and doesn't seem to care while on the field, the team has been so injured and is rebuilding that they haven't been able to compete. only a few years ago, the a's were in the middle of the pack in attendance—not bad for a small market team competing with the giants and their amazing ballpark...
What a shame, I've been an Oakland fan for life and it drives me mad that they can't put butts in seats. Lew Wolff needs to die or sell the team to someone who can make a concerted effort to winning and staying in Oakland.
the a's attendance was 1,500,000 this year and 2,300,000 2 years ago when we were a winning team. how does a team that basically finished .500 this year have such a reduce in seating
The biggest thing that brings in attendance to games: people that want to come to a nice ballpark. The team doesnt even have to be good, the team can be in dead last and people will still come, just because of the atmosphere.
Seattle is a great example, they finished 20/30 as far as attendance, but finished dead last 30/30 last season. Why was attendance still reasonable? Because Safeco Field is the one of the two best parks on the entire west coast.
@KanGarOo4123 i know what you mean man.

@KanGarOo4123
The A's have a good track record with developing players, so it's just a matter of time before they contend again.
