Yep, MTV used to be cool. I know it's hard to believe, but, in the 1980's and the early 90's, MTV was quite fun. MTV should have stayed "all music, all the time", and created a new channel for their reality shows. This is an example of a brilliant vision being taken over and twisted into something that, at the end of the day, just sucks. This happens way too much in America, and it's largely due to the fact that corporations control everything in our lives based on money.

Why is Stipe playing guitar and not just Buck? It looks almost as weird as if Morrissey were to suddenly pull out an acoustic guitar and start playing.

I prefer the stark acoustic version off Up but this one has some lovely piano bits and the percussion aids it well too.

yes its actually at the end of Diminished before the next track ( parakeet ) comes on - just listen to Diminished untill the very end and I'm Not Over You Comes On - this song possibly written about the then-departed Bill Berry

my favourite 60 seconds from "UP" very beautiful and heartfelt - saw him perform this at sterling as the sun set behind the castle a few years ago . Why does post berry rem get such a hard time ? i thought around tha sun had some great songs on it and i thought michaels lyrics were some of his best, tho i am lovin the new "more direct" new album too
