  • You love your apple product lol. I suppose you will have a apple tv when they come out next year.

  • 1066MHz memory is not fast.

  • i live in australia i'm getting it when i go on holiday in 2012... Lots of saving to do!

  • Way too big...Am i the only one who doesn't think that this is portable...?I mean look it at 01:00...

  • like/dislike bar looks like pencil

  • i just cant wait untll i buy itt ,thanks for the info:)

  • @SUBZEROCODE what website is it?

  • I want the wallpaper LOL

  • i like the hhhhhhhaych d camera. ;) jk man

  • I have the 13" air i7 256gb and it's so fast with the ssd!

  • @Polygon6789 $2499

  • How much is it in American money??

  • Finally, ordered mine today :D

  • Why is your ram only 1067mhz, I have the same model mbp and mine is 1333mhz like its supposed to be.

  • I have a question. First should I go for glare or anti glare. When I get a MBP I will be on the go every now and then and I think its worth it as I can not control lighting situations let me know if this is correct and what you think. Seeing I will be using this system to edit with Final Cut Pro would I be right getting the better graphics and the 7200PRM drive. Will the faster drive cause overheating? And also should I go for the larger screen and better graphics or spend the money on a Lowry

  • PAY BIG MONEY FOR 2005 TECHNOLOGY.

  • @PUNISHERUltra

    bla bla bla !

  • @becks18 PAY BIG MONEY FOR 2011 TECHNOLOGY AND 2008 PERFORMANCE.

    BETTER NOW?

  • @PUNISHERUltra

TROLL WRITE EVERYTHING IN CAPITAL LETTERS FOR ATTENTION BECAUSE PARENTS NO LOVE HIM.

  • @CelebrityEndorsement THANKS FOR YOUR INVALUABLE INSIGHT AND FEEDBACK INTO THE SUBJECT.

    TROLL!

  • Where did you get the wallpaper?

  • Can I have your wallpaper?

  • @0100010010EB yeap i must agree..honest truth is when you compare prices. UNLESS YOU ABsolutely must have a built in dvd burner,13.3" mba would be a better deal although 100 bucks more. samsung 128 gb ssd inside. cpu isn't slower enough to call it a con. All other specs are similar except lacking a port or two overal. Depends on your needs. but If you're used to ssd like i am..you WILL NOT want to go back to hdd as your o.s. storage device. I know apple could have afford to put in a gt335m

  • I'm gonna buy this one in september hoping the new model will be out by than. (And give my just bought Samsung SF311 to my wife than). No more hp for me. Sony screens, I can see the pixels on, something I dont want. Macbook pro and air are so sexy. just want one in my house.

  • Do u think programs like after effects wont be sluggish on this??

  • @AllStar447 They won't.

  • laptop costs more than my house

  • @SuperSuperRemix the you are a really poor man

  • @SuperSuperRemix you pay for what you get...

  • @rsfeller You pay what they want you to think is worth it when it is the exact opposite. Stupidity of money vs quality of low cost and variety.

  • For Graphic design and Film editing, is the Glossy or Anti-glare screen a better option? I'm thinking of buying a 2011 Macbook pro for my A2 Media and Art courses... any thoughts?

  • @JSWoodhams Anti-glare, definitely.

  • Looking for a really good laptop for video editing. I'm a film student. Don't have a lot of money to get a desk top computer. I have been looking at the Mac Pro since I'm using Final Cut Pro. But I don't know if that's a good idea or not. I have a PC but been using Apple's in my college classes. If someone can point me in the direction of a good fast laptop with really good memory and that can stand Final Cut Pro that would be great. You can email me at lbschlutt@alaska.edu. Thanks.

  • whats a "heytch D" camera? lmao. HD bro. HD.

  • fastest notebook youve ever tested stop being a fanboy and look at alienware OMG they are the exact same price and if you hate windows go buy a mac OS CD and use mac OS instead

  • @RYANC489M11X that would involve hacking it and void the warrenty. + he said tested, he never said "this is the fastest notebook in the world"

  • @actuallydave ok fair enough about warrenty and thats what i said that he said TESTED

  • @RYANC489M11X does the fact that he says it's the fastest he's tested mean he's a fanboy? no, it means he hasn't tested anything faster. He isn't saying it's faster than an Alienware. He just said that out of what he himself has used, this is the fastest.

  • Could you do some gaming on that 17" Macbook pro? I'm very interested to see how well it performs games like Call of Duty, Portal 2, etc.

    Thank you very much! :)

  • Hello this is great vid ;_)

  • God you are looking good

yes i am a male but f that

  • @DasNicoschen faggot

  • I just ordered the 2.0GHz 15" antiglare model. How is that one? Is it worth the money?

  • Mac and pc has their uses respectively... For my muSic I would never go with a pc...when burning discs and song files the drives are very quiet on a mac.. Pc drives are a bit "glitchy"

  • I bought better Laptop with win 7 x64 with i7 proccesor and 8 gigs of ram + it has 1.5Tb 7.2 k rpm HDD and a 470 GTX in it, and it cost me effin 1,2 k bucks, of course I don't get 7 h battery life, but as I have life I dont really need to work on my laprom outdoors or something and every place I work on my laptp has a where to plug in my power cord. ah, and it looks better, is compatable with All programs I want and I can play games on it as much as I want. Mac is just a waste of time and your $

  • @everves Looks are subjective. My 2009 Macbook Pro is even more compatible than your Windows machine for the simple reason that I can run OSX, Linux, AND Windows 7. I consistently game on my Mac and even though its 2 years old I bet I still get better battery life than most brand new Windows machines. Oh and I've never invested a dime into anti-virus software. To each his own.

  • @KTM990WFO BTW, Mac is Linux based OS, secondly majority of programs on Win are 32 bit because many people ae using XP, about compatability, try using those programs on MacOs not Win installed on MacOs. And I am saying that I better buy Win just because it is cheaper, I don't want to pay several times more money just for less.

  • @everves Both OSX and Linux are Unix based OS's. A large chunk of Windows 7 programs still run in 32-bit compared to OSX. Why would I try using a Windows program on OSX? Of course it wouldn't work. Thats like saying try running iMovie in Windows. It won't work. However because I can use Windows 7 on my Mac, that makes it a more versatile machine. And you're right, you do pay more for a Mac most of the time. But you're paying more for more, not more for less.

  • @everves BTW it isn't just about the hardware that makes speed. Windows 7 is slow, there's just no way around it. How do I know this? Because I run OSX and Windows 7 on the exact same hardware. Windows is sluggish and doesn't respond nearly as fast as OSX. Many of the programs that Windows uses are still in 32 bit, where as almost everything OSX runs is in 64 bit.

Did you custom build your machine or did you buy it from a manufacturer?

  • This is the fastest laptop u've tested? hmm, guess you haven't tested the G73

  • 17inch is huge, probaly go a for a 13inch look better and portability

  • Nice review dude. Only thing - it's not a Mac Pro. That is a very different product line of tower computers. These are Macbook Pro's.

  • Can you make a review about this computer using architecture & design programs? I know it's a super computer but I'm thinking of buying a new macbook pro and I can't decide between the 17" to the 15". Thanks.

  • "Pro" all the way, dude. :-)

  • Just subscribed to your channel. I'm saving up to buy a Mac myself and your videos are really helpful.

  • Nice review! I also made a comparison review of each model. Please check it out so I can get some feedback on how to make it better. Thanks.

  • Great review man!

  • gotta love that haytch dee video

  • is a 13" macbook pro still good? im thinking of getting one myself but because of the price im having thoughts. i do a lot of video editing and graphic design so it seems a good laptop to get. not sure if a 13" will be too small though.

  • @JREntertianment I believe around 5 seconds or so. I've had that problem before. Not sure why. Have you tried restoring your mac?

  • @mitch625 mine in 3sec. :P 2.3ghz/4gb/500gb 7200rpm

  • " This really does put the Pro, back in Macbook Pro ! " WIN!

  • wait wait, what do you mean the 7200rpm drive runs at 5400rpm? doesn't that defeat the purpose of it being a 7200rpm drive?

  • THUNDERBOLT!

  • fiftyfootshadows (dot) net/2010/05/10/still-waiting/ HIS WALLPAPER YO

  • @RightOnManRightOn Dan you've got a good eye lol. But yes that's the one guys :)

  • Wallpaper is from Fiftyfootshadows (google it) and this particular wallpaper is called "Still Waiting"

  • which is your wallpaper? it's awesome, as well as the video. congrats

  • WALLPAPER PLEASE

  • Subscribed instantly after watching ur vid. Short, sweet and straight to the point!!

  • You're gorgeous. Love the accent.

  • HAITCH............. -_-

  • I really want one!

  • my bad, I most certainly do not have an i7 processor, that would make a large difference

  • it could be that I am merely ignorant in the matter, but my 2010 macbook pro runs a 2.4 gHz processor, how is your 2011 2.2 processor twice as fast?

  • @allsixcolours The 2011 model has 4 cores and the 2010 models only have 2.

  • @allsixcolours also, it has an i7 proccesor

  • @allsixcolours

Also, it is a different architecture, therefore the speeds aren't equal across the board.

Example (made these up): Pentium 2.0Ghz vs Sandy Bridge i Series 2.0GHz. The Sandy Bridge would win.

You cant compare processors just by the speed. Hope this helped a bit.

  • Hi Dan, How did you put that link on the top of your channel?

  • Isn't the 2012 MacBook pro supposed to be the new redesigned body style with liquid metal?

  • Hi Mitch, are you having the flicker issue with the 24" ACD and the new MBP?

  • another great vid!!!!

  • If the mac is only 6 pounds why did u say it is 2099 pound

    PS

Im not as dumb as you think i am.

  • do macboosk get virus;s ?

  • Nice short review. I got the new 13inch about a week ago i see you done a zagg install did it peel on the corners after a while?

  • Subscribed! XD

  • where did u get that background in that laptop?

  • I can't wait to upgrade to that model - my current 17" is 4 years old - so very slow! Great review as usual :)

  • Reflection of the camera fail at 1:12

  • is this the sandybridge model?

  • Real shame no SSD as standard.

  • @james737 well, having space on the hard drive is still a necessity. 120GB is not going to cut it for almost anyone.

  • Dude talk slower.

  • Oh, Darryl, Darryl, Darryl. You ARE so buff. *cough* I mean TECHbuff. TECHbuff. *ahem*

Love the goofy waving when testing the "Haitch" Dee camera ;-)

  • seeettupppp tourrrr!!!!

  • such a shame Mac doesn't have the software support like PC does. If it did, it would really be a world dominator.

  • your website techbuff sounds a lot like jon4lakers technobuffalo....

  • the only negative aspect of the macbook pro is that it doesn't have a blu-ray player

  • god ur sexy!

  • @msfili i know right..... I should move to England!!

  • i didnt know you could make the menu bars transparent in osx lol

  • Link for wallpaper please?

  • Hello, I want a 15" MacPro and I will be using it for basic browsing, some photo and video editing (For YouTube), mailing, school projects and for music. I was wondering if I need to upgrade it to 2.3 GHz, ram to 8GB, Hi-Res display, and hard drive to SSD?

    Thank you.

  • Nice review vid man! Keep them coming! Great shooting/editing as well!

  • the bitch is fast as fuck. even the baseline model at bestbuy was bitchin fast compared to last gen

  • Oh wait TechBuff isent your YouTube name lol...anyway yeah its still a cool name lol!

  • why the fuck do you have the old mighty mouse there?

  • 0:59 please, DON'T hold it that way

  • qwad co co hawd dwive!!!! lololol!!!!

  • Dude your YouTube name is so awsume! If you get an SSD then it will have A LOT better battery life, waaay faster, and cooler/quieter. Then you can also take out the superdrive and put in another SSD or regular hard drive for more space. Thats what Im gonna do, I really dont need discs at all. This video!!

  • Thank you so much because you told me where to find reliable and affordable ram without you i would be stuck with a measly 2GB

  • that thing looks ridiculously large at :59

I would never get a laptop bigger than 15"

  • 0:32 Why is ram a different speed to whats on the apple website?

  • you're so HOT! wish that you fuck me

  • @djeddienet antiglare mate , just go for antiglare

  • what do you think about the macbook pro 15inch 2.0GHz
