Where in the fantasy is that place? I went to Guadalajara, and it's a real big and modern city, with a lot of cars and bad drivers, it was big since colonial times. And also, as far as I know, not all mexicans speak english, but they speak spanish well! It's terrible that Salma Hayek being mexican didn't care to show something real, I live further from Mexico than the people who makes this show and still I'm not stupid to think Guadalajara is like that.
I agree with you. I've been in Guadalajara and it's a huge city. Ugly Betty should have done a better job of showing it as a metropolis and not as a dusty town with hardly any vegetation.

I also agree with you. Guadalajara is the second largest city in Mexico not a little town in the desert!!
