I found out how to fix this a few months ago, it involves the RAM. If you have one stick of ram installed with an extra slot, try pulling it out and putting it in the extra slot. If that doesn't fix it, upgrade your ram. That fixed it for me. RAM is very cheap these days.

reinstall gmod either when u downloaded the game a file was missing or a file is corrupt im not for sure this is right but i think thats wats it

Defrag your gmod files and you can check it too im sure that will fix it

is there a game info in the correct place

first solution : go on to steam , games tab , go on garrysmod porpreties , set game startup thing , and in the box but : -dxlevle 81

second solution : look in diferent directories for games info and copy it and put it in deferant places

@Chocol6 Have u looked into options? Check what mouse settings are, i had the same problem

if u cant fix it try reinstalling gmod (If you did already, i dont know what it could be...)

did u get gmod from steam or in torrent form...i hav torrent. if u have if remove the old gmod folder then install gmod again then u got it fixed.if u got it on steam i dont no about steam

Half-Life 2 and gmod is runing un different engines... hl2 is a engine 7 I think (not sure) and gmod is runung a engine 14...

AND you should have over (or) the recommended to play (for more motion and better fps)

ok man heres you need half life 2 to start mods k its not the css or hl2dm the hl2dm and css are just exra materials so you can use if you dont have hl2dm it does not appear in weapons(stunstick and slam)k but if you have css that will be so cool to torture gman with CSS weapons k thats my tip get hl2 ohhh you can intall dods too to bring extra materials k thats my tip im so sorry but i can tell you to get all steam games if you want???!!

You need to have the right games to see the models ex: to see a css weapon u need css

It means that GMod cant find the models that you spawn... Make sure you have At least one Source-based game installed, and that the props you spawn is corresponding to that game!

ok it worked, i installed it to the HL2 directory, i reinstalled it to its own folder (it was a standalone my friend gave me)
