One of the reasons songs like this were overlooked was because they were not played on pop F.M. radio stations. Many were regulated to soul stations on A.M. radio. Now people wonder why the music of this period didn't receive more airplay. My guess? Today's rap, autotune and sampled music is ironic justice. Now young people have to discover this music via Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and Snoop Doogg

In my opionnion, Thise RAp thing is a downfall for the 'black' people. I love Soul music, orginated by good black people, buttomline: Most Rap crab is totally negatury issue for 'Blacks'. @rtcopper Please, Did Mary Wells record "You'll lose a good thing"? I already heard it by Aretha Franklin, Dee Dee Sharp and, of course, by Barbara Lynn in two recordings. I studied Mary Wells' discography and I didn't find this song in it. Please, which is it the other side of her single? Since now, many thanks (from Brazil)

@castelobrancopaulo This is a mislabel post. This is Mary Wells singing 'You'll Lose A Good Thing." If you listen to the recording by Barbara Lynn you would notices that the horns are a tad deeper and Barbara voice is deeper.
