not all good music comes from poor people. it comes from who feels it the most. thats like saying only black people can rap. if that were true then explain atmosphere, eyedea and abilities, or aesop rock. same concept. if only poor people can play real music then how come brand new can make real music? rhetorical question. we know the answer. because they are awesome

i love brand new, i just can't quite figure out why jesse is such a tool. "he has a hard life" no he does not. he gets to play music for a living. he could stop at any time if he didn't like it. i saw them in concert and his lack of enthusiasm is just a drag.
do you even listen to the songs he writes? it has nothing to do with what he does for a living, he sees the world for what it really is, and that greatly depresses him. Kurt Cobaine played music for a living and he blew his own fucking head off.

i met jesse yesterday after the concert and it was like i just ran into him and it took me alittle while to realize who it was. he was so down to earth and easy to talk to.

i decided to watch the super long link to understand jtl better
and i was fast forwarding and i saw madina lake.
i was pretty into them for awhile.
so i stopped to listen to their interview.
like the third question was "who do you want to see?"
they pretty much all were excited to see brand new.
i gained new respect for them.
