Unfortunately, youtube just isn't the proper format to demonstrate this camera's full capacity. Not only is this a hand-held, "firehosing" video, but the compression ratios associated are not going to do the full 1080p, 6fps brilliance the justice due.
I recommend a google search for "Canon EOS 5D Mark II Reverie". That short film uses about 10 Canon lenses and is closer. Of course, nothing will be as good as a capture, blue-ray burn and 1080p viewing.
True the D90 has more wobble, but I don't see how that puts it at a "severe disadvantage," considering that these are two COMPLETELY different classes of cameras. The 5D Mk II is aimed at professionals and those who demand the full frame advantage. The D90 is hardly makes it into the semi-professional category (although, some people argue that it's a semi-pro camera in a plastic body, which is partially true). The 5D is also 2.7x the price of the D90. Two very different audiences here.

Hey moron, if you read the side info, you will realize that what you are seeing is the youtube compression of the video. If you really want to see what this camera can do with a 85mm 1.2 lense, go to google and paste following and click on first link
"While you keep your eye on the action, the EOS 5D Mark II keeps you perfectly focused for tack sharp results"
@geimd03: Sorry, those movies don't prove anything. While they look good, it's spoiled by the sentence above them: "These movies were taken with the EOS 5D Mark II, then converted to Flash format for viewing on the web. The image size and quality of the original movie may differ from that shown here."
I'll reserve judgment until someone can show me a movie straight from the cam.
I agree. I personally need the EXACT frame rates of 23.976, 24.00, 25.00 and 29.97. Unfortunately, this camera only does 30.00, which is useless in editing, as many editors would resample by default and create ghosting.
Agreed. The D90 has some seriously bad wobble. The canon 5D doesn't seem to have it as badly. This puts the D90 at a severe disadvantage. I wish the poster shook the camera more aggressively to see if more wobble would occur.
How does the quality jump from 360p to 720p??

Why do you still want 1080/24p if you get 1080/30p? 24p is for cinema. Plus every TV/LCD/TFT can handle 30p, but only the better ones can handle 24p.
