it's just a thought, maybe way off, but i would guess that asian choirs often match vowels very well because they often sing repertoire not in their own language, and so they must learn the vowels as a group without outside influence.

Gorgeous!!!!!!!!! i am in my high school's chamber choir and my director makes everyone tryout for an honor choir, and we had to learn this piece for the tryouts (WHICH ARE 2 DAYS AWAY!!!) so i'm nervous, but its so pretty and i'd love to sing this song live! .......Good Job!!!!!!

I've found that no matter how many choirs I watch, the asian ones always have this huge, amazing sound. I don't know what it is, but it is damn consistent.

My choir sang these in high school. They were a lot of fun and I'd have to say Rakut (the 5th movement) was a group favorite.

Hebrew is my second language but I understood it rather well. I have trouble understanding choirs singing in English! they did rather well. I helped a HS choir director with Erev Shel Shoshanim once and his kids did great. One was from Finland and he did it solo for contest and was amazing. He could do Het and Khaf , make distinct zayins and pure Israeli Hebrew vowels, not drawls like the Americans. We should sing so well in CHINESE.
