  • Poor posture and improper diet is now considered a culprit of GERD. Why not. Poor posture is physically compressing the digestive system. It is depression as well. Both the emotional and physical problems cause GERD. I've lengthened my spine and whole body. An offshoot to this is that my GERD has become nearly none existent. Also eat an apple each nite before bedtime.

  • LPR isn't even proven, and I don't think it's even real. Doctors just call a problem reflux when someone has unsolved throat issues.

If acid material came into your throat, it would wake you up. What a bunch of bullshit...

  • @Floodlezoot Sorry, but LPR is very real. The reason people don't wake up is because upper esophageal sphincter muscle contracts if the acid is coming up in the sleep. That's why a lot of people with LPR experiences a lump in throat sensation.

  • @HrapovikPlush true, but often it's nerve damage PVVN, and the ppis won't help that at all.

  • @Floodlezoot Yeah, I agree that PPIs are crap. I do realize that LPR, lump in throat, etc. has to do with nerve damage. Could you plz explain what PVVN is? I never heard of it. Also, any advice on how to reverse the nerve damage?
