When she stresses that the bride and groom should discuss the playlist with their band or DJ, I'd suggest two other points: (1) When it comes to dance music, the bride & groom should be sure to think of what their guests would like to dance to (not merely what the two of them like) -- You won't be happy if your guests aren't happy. (2) Give your band or a DJ some "must plays" and lots of guidance but don't try to pick ALL the songs for dancing.
