I think why is because this reminds me of something my grandfather used to play (on his banjo) before he passed. This makes all the stress just drift away.

Very nice Hiroshi. This reminds me of something sad but joyous at the same time. Like the end of a dramatic TV show where somebody has passed on but there is a new baby with so much hope for the future. That probably sounded weird but oh well, music is emotion. Thank-you.

Thank you. I made this from the memory of my childhood. The scenario like that happened to me last year. My mother past away a year ago from today and my first grandson was born two month after that. I can see my mother in him.

I think it's interesting that you named this song orange, because it really does remind me of the color orange! If I was talented enough to produce a fingerstyle guitar album, I would make a song for each of the "main" colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple). I think it would be interesting to see how the abstraction of the colors come alive in my mind when composing the music. Feel free to steal this idea :)

I also have image of color for the music. It is more like a colored tint overlaid on monochrome scene. In my case the color comes in after I started to work on the song though. I might steal some colors from you in future. (^^)

Just one question, the dynamics seems to be lost in this recording and the bass levels are at a very low key (say, in comparison to Boxer etc.).... Most enjoyable all the same and keep it coming. Well done, Hiroshi-san.
