just to point out no leather seats decrepid seats falling to bits if you fly from manchester airport premium economy costs the same but you get crap planes from manchester they only operate new planes from gatwick so the add is very misleading believe me its a con i have flown 26 times to and from usa and they have so gone rubbish from when we first went virgin to now its just diabolical dee uk x

@babeeshopiez123 The seat width in economy is 17,5 inch and the pitch is 31. If you want more, you should book premium economy. There you get a seat width of 21 inch and a pitch of 38 inch. Have a nice day!

All I can say is that VA has 4 stars on the airline quality internet portal. Just like British Airways... I think if you like it more modern and smart casual fly with VA, if you like it old school fly with BA. I will have the best comparison between the two on my vacation because I fly Amsterdam - London Gatwick with BA and Gatwick - Las Vegas with VA,

the problem with virgin is, it treats its economy passengers as necessary evils, you feel as though you are 'tolerated' in every sense of the word. 10 or 12 years ago it was never like that.

it puts way too much emphasis on classes whereas Air New Zealand (my new preferred airline company) has classes the same but everybody is treated equally. you get all the usual perks in 1st class of course but the looking down and snobbery towards economy passengers by the crew doesn't exist

the only time virgin atlantic ever came to the bahamas was the summer of 2005.

It was the first 747 to land and takeoff here. I manage to get a tour of it and it was unbelivable. It keep coming here until the end of summer 2006.
