Cheers Marty, I've been playing 5 yars, and I was pretty good, mainly folk orientated but I never really had any style. After following some of your jazz vieos I've really gotten into jazz and I feel I'm becoming a much better technical guitarist for it.
Thank you very much it's my first introduction to jazz and never thought I would go round to it one day....I owe you one...Could you tell me in what scale we should improvise...Bm blues ???
can anyone tell me what he does like right at the end in the hendrix chord? You hear that change of sound? like the last note in the hendrix chord. What I see is that he takes his pinky finger off but if I do the same thing it won´t sound the same.
Marty, you rock. I love your lessons and vids.I tell all my fellow guitar player friends to check them out and I will be buying your lessons and advise them to do the same.
Marty your the man! I started my guitar journey knowing nothing and following NextLevelGuitar, and then I saw you in a few videos and followed you ever since. Ive become a much much better player because of you and you alone.. Thank you so much!
I am so happy you posted this!! I saw your cover with Jason Eskridge, and loved it so I tried to learn it just by listening and watching, but a lot of the chord shapes were unfamiliar to me. I got it now though!!! Thank you!!!
marty do you teach any songs in you lessons or you just give chords we and use in others things

this is in a different key than when I play in my jazz group. Its sounds so weird
joe11471 4 months ago
Does this song stay in the same key the whole time or is there a change towards the end?.
What "Hendrix" chord? Whats the proper name for it?.
It's just that I tune differently and its easy to figure out a chord by name but not by regular guitar only terminology.
Thank you for making this video available to everyone.

@XXVersionXX barre the D G B 8th fret with your index finger when doing the Hendrix chord then take your pinky off and there you have it.
