What with all the useless reving of the engine while driving???? Also , we used to do this mod in the 70,s. Just like your doing. After the mod , Our exhaust valves would run too hot from the lean mixture most of the time. the valves would not seat correctly and the performance went down, because we didn't know any better. Just like you. Keep up the good work.
@workingguitar1: 1) I'm reving the engine because I feel like it and to piss you off when I pass by. 2) I wouldn't care if the engine blew up from the mod, I'll do it again 3) We will keep up the good work 4) Thanks for the useless comment that served absolutely no purpose
@MrBashian Sounds good, and just iggy the hater... he's jealous because he is stuck in a cage while you ride one of the finest bikes made... maybe he might handle a Schwinn... but thats about it. Us Honda riders will always be above those poor fools
GOOD JOB...i DID THE SAME THING AND HAD A INCREASE OF 20 HORSEPOWER...10 FROM EA EXHAUST PIPE..I WAS GOING TOP SPEED ON MY 750 OF 121 MPH NOW I HAVE GONE OVER 125MPH ALONG SIDE A VTX 1800
Only thing that loud pips may save is someone's fragile ego.
Research was done on this matter and it is proven that loud pipes only disturb driver. What's interesting here is that motorcycle pipes direct the vast majority of sound backwards where the least danger is (3%) while 77% of motorcycle hazrds come from in front of a driver.
@lilrebal131 lets see, almost 10,000 miles later and its still running just fine. and all the valves are just fine too. Compression is still what it needs to be.. and I'm hurting my engine?
No rejetting required. However, we're going to replace the exhaust. This mod is only temprorary. Nothing beats and actual aftermarket exhaust sound, you know.
What country is that, because that's a sick ss silverado back there.

You're cool buddy, so smart. Everyone is so impressed at how you used to do this in the 70s and how old you must therefore be. Fuck you.

Mr. Bashin you said at 0:30 sec. give it idle when the correct term would be give it throttle

This is the reason that motorcycles are getting banned from camp-grounds and apartment complexes.

Mr.Bahsian
why is this mod only temporary?
it sounds even louder than the aftermarket exhaust (at least in the video)

A bit of a tinny rattle in there, but it does sound better than stock.
...and you can't beat the cost of this mod!
KutWrite 2 years ago
its better if you just take em off all together like i did and run it on straight headers but then you have to re-jet, makes it loud as a hell lol.
but if you do the "hole-saw" mod you better off to drill out the welds and not drill it out. it takes less time, or at least it did for me.

has anyone done back to back dyno runs to see how much more horsepower you might be picking up without the baffles?
