I live in Vienna, Austria and visited Buffalo for the first time.

I'm proud that i could spend that night in the HSBC Arena. A historical moment for me.

Everytime I watch this...I get goosebumps! It brings a tear to ur eye it really does! On that night one team united a community & the HSBC Arena faithful embraced every second!

I was estatic when Rivs tied it... popcorn & beer flew everywhere in my section we all went nuts & group hugged down the row!

To this day my ticket stub from that game hangs atop my wall with the article I was compelled to write 4 my town newspaper! A true momento I will cherish each time I see these clips!

@Texfan57 the story of what happened that night is one that EVERY sabres fan, young, old... from buffalo, from halfway around the world...fair-weather or diehard, past, present and future, should come to know...

I was at this game, i sat next to the family whos house was destroied, during the moment of silence, I turned to them and smiled, they smiled back, and when The Shootout was over, we all cried and hugged, Lets go buffalo!!!
