Sounds incredible. I have a 1942 (I believe it to be) Gene Krupa Radio king snare and it sounds wicked. Deep rich tone that just can't be recreated by todays snares (unless its custom made). Enjoy the set man
Hi There...The snare sounds real nice...What heads are you using on the mounted tom? it may be the recording, but it sounds like it could come up a bit to help project. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings? Also, what heads are on the batter side of the bass, and is it a 26"? I find that a coated head responds better with the bigger drums, than say a pinstripe or even a evans system. Embasador, coated..or smooth, have never let me down. I enjoyed your playing very much. Was it humid that day? LFB
