News flash dipshit, breaking the window is SUPPOSED to bring the fire to the window. It vents the flames, heat and smoke to the outside, so the men operating inside have less , *pay attention here* flames smoke and heat to deal with inside the building.

@12ateitis1 Why they not put a water? Dude are you serious? They're making their way up to hit the fire from the inside, I can promise you. You don't spray water from the outside. At least not at that point of the fire. That would be "unprofessional"

@firepower782 i wouldnt say an outside jet into that is unprofessional....we do that here in the UK. tackle it from both sides. we break the window and then put water in from the outside to cool it. at the same time we commit a BA team to fight it from inside.

@pyro999maniac LOL, this is the most dangerous tactic by far. Never ever combine exterior and interior attack at a single apartment building, or the interior-guys might get scalded due to the hot steam.

@Crazyfogfighter um considering that i am a firefighter in the UK i think i do. we do it differently in the UK. thats why we stay in radio contact throughout operations. when we reach the rooms that the outside firefighters are targeting we radio and they stop. it is perfectly safe and it works. plus the steam is leaving through the vents and windows. just because people dont use your tactics doesn't mean we are not firefighters. that is a bit arrogant. ou dont do it like me so you not a fireman

Exterior attack on residential buildings is totally outdated, it has mainly disadvantages.

I can't image you really use this tactic very frequently on apartment fires.

But okay, the UK does have a bad (or at least not as good as ours) firefighting-system in general.

@Crazyfogfighter i am a volly medic and an RDS firefighter. our firefighting system is perfectly safe, and we do use this tactic, or we wouldn't be doing it! the health and safety in the UK reli is picky. they even tried to stop us using the pole in stations because it was "too dangerous". just because we do it differently doesn't mean that that we are bad or worse than you. what happened to firefighting being a worldwide family.

Bei einem Wohnungsbrand wird normalerweise NIE Innen- und Außenangriff kombiniert, zum einen weil ein Außenangriff einen Innenangriff unmöglich macht, zum anderen weil der Wasserschaden im Vergleich zum Nutzen gigantisch ist.

Außenangriff nur bei Flammenüberschlag oder wenn kein Innenangriff möglich ist. Sonst nicht

Zum Beispiel: Wenn das Innere Feuerwehrleute in ihre Atemgeräte immer beginnen wir die Brandbekämpfung von außen. und wenn sie reingehen wir weiterhin außerhalb zu tun, bis sie das Feuer zu erreichen. dann werden wir aufhören, bis das Innere sagen uns, wieder von vorne anfangen. so kann man kombinieren. Natürlich würden wir es nicht tun, wenn es nicht sicher war. das ist dumm! schön mit dir zu reden! :)

@12ateitis1 1. Horizontal ventilation. Let the heat out so the interior crew can attack. The flames shooting out the window are evidence that the heat vent is working. You don't spay water from the outside when there are crews working inside. That would push the heat and fire inwards, making things worse. I agree with others, great vantage point, way too short of a video. I'd have liked to see the knock down.

@12ateitis1 Apparently, they wanted to see if some illiterate with poor sentence structure would reply. Further, if you apply water from the outside of this type of structure you end up driving the fire into the building. This, of course, would cause more fire damage and have those with vast knowledge of fire-fighting ask, "THEY PUT A WATER? SO LONG!!!!!!!. So, with your up-coming English classes, may I suggest a course on fire science?

If I was that fireman I would be like O shit cause it looks like it was going to spread to the next building.
