Mp's said they wanted to engage the young and new voters, many who voted Lib-Dem precisely on the no fees pledge for tuition. How do you expect to engage with young and first time voters if you lie to them?

@onwebcameron I agree entirely. This coalition has become based entirely on CLOSED DOOR politics.

Throughout the election campaign I got more and more annoyed with the horrific amount of negative campaigning used by the LibDems. Now they're all about working with the cons.

I'm interested what the outcome of Aaron Porters (NUS President-elect) actions will be. The NUS pledge was a good idea, it will give the NUS an Iron Clad case that the LibDems promised that they would vote AGAINST fees.

1) This is why the result is so unfair, both parties campaigned on specific beliefs and principles to the electorate. For some of the electorate these were vote clinching issues, and they looked at the party's policies carefully before making their choice. Now it seems those issues are deemed inconvenient and no longer of importance.

Cameron said politicians had been lying to the electorate for forty years, but now that was over, (two weeks before the election).

@onwebcameron In just a few weeks the coalition government appear to have broken more promises than Labour in that time, encouraged more sleaze and immorality and been just as quick off the mark to starve even our kids and old folk through cuts and taxes.

They've even been more efficient at emptying our jails and surrendering what's left of our independence to the EU!
