  • i want to buy this car.... accumulating money now, but still dont know when i could be able to buy it though..

  • do u guys know what a prius sounds like when it drives past u at 75km/h? mmmmmmmmmmimgaaayyy

  • ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  • like the prius

  • honda needs more power.

  • i like insight than prius

  • what is usual mpg or kpl for these cars? thanks

  • Not sure what mode they used to test the acceleration of Insight, S mode is even faster than normal D mode.

  • For most normal drivers including myself, torque is more important than horsepower especially for hill climbing. For the version of Honda Insight in my country (which is from Japan itself), the combined torque is 199Nm which is quite amazing from such a small engine. The low end torque is very good. It's higher than many 1.6Litres or even 1.8/2.0Litres, 174Nm/188Nm (Civic). It takes around 10.4 seconds to reach 100km/hr as shown in part 2 of the video, beats Prius.

  • Screw these hybrids, let's go get the BMW 750Li ActiveHybrid.

  • i would get non get a vw tdi clean diesel they are cheaper less fuel needed faster better quality..... i could go on!

  • fuck hybrid cars. get me fucking range rover

  • In stock form, the prius looks much better but once you add the Mugen parts to the insight, its game over for 'yota

  • But why compare them? Even though they both have a similar aerodynamic shape, the Prius is a bigger C segment car, and the Insight is a slightly smaller B segment car.

  • @ale03000 They're being compared because they're aiming for the same market -- those looking for fuel efficient hybrids.

I believe Honda created the Insight specifically to compete with the Prius. Frankly, they would have done a better job if they had created some supply. Back around the time I was in the market for a new car, the Insight was damn near impossible to find...so the few around was ridiculously expensive.

  • @Rezxer They are also different types of hybrids. Prius is a full hybrid (2 electric motors) and Insight is a mild hybrid (1 electric motor) and cost less. I personally love the Insight after driving it. It's like playing a game when driving it, it appeals even more to gamers like myself lol. Toyota's design is a little boring for me. That's normal because generally Toyotas appeal to older people while Hondas appeal to the younger ones. Thanks :].

  • @ale03000 Does it matter that they have different hybrid engines?

To be honest, what you say doesn't make much sense. You say you like the Insight because driving it is like a game, yet the Prius essentially popularized this -- they even coined the game as 'the Prius effect'. Then you say Toyota's design is boring to you...even though the Insight and Prius looks identical (something the top commenter noted).

No need to make excuses. If you don't like the Prius, that's fine.

  • @Rezxer The Prius Effect? I did not know that thanks. In the Insight the backlight shows green when you're driving efficiently and blue when you're not, not everyone like it but I do. And after every trip when you turn off the engine it'll show you the Eco score. If you drive efficiently in the long run it'll even award you with trophies LOL in 3 stages. Prius doesn't have that right? Prius and Insight don't look identical, they just have a similar aerodynamic shape and they're both hatchbacks.

  • @ale03000 who cares they both suck

  • The prius is the most ugly car I ever saw!

  • Hyundai Elantra. Much cheaper, and has very close milage to the hybrids.

  • I owned the 11 insight. After 5 months got rid of it.. The interior is cheap the performance is weak beyond anything I have ever driven. THE FUCKING AIR CONDITION TURNS OFF WHEN ITS NEEDED MOST. That of course is when you are at a stop... Honda put together a gigantic turd thank god I kept my g35x cause this ride blows complete donkey dick! Sorry for my language but this needs to be said the car is a $22,495 pile of steamy cow shit. Shame on honda it should not even be considered a hybrid.

  • Civic Hybrid is the best!!!!!!!!!

  • I'd have to go with the Prius. No hate, but the Insight is like the poor man's version on the Prius.

  • LET ME SAY SOMETHING USERS ON YOUTUBE I'D HAVE NONE OF THEM I'D PREFER TO HAVE AN CAMEL THAN THESE CARS

PS PLZ SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL AND FRIEND

  • im fond of both of them...meening OBSESSED...but id prefer the Prius slightly more

  • 2001 honda civic ....5 grand to buy.....seats 4......28 city 36 highway.....looks better then the insight......there ya go....

  • @misterbear1984 When it comes to value, a Hyundai Accent will pretty much smash any car.

A 2005 Hyundai Accent goes for about $5K, has a combined MPG of 35, and retains 28% of its value after five years. After the Accent, though, a Honda Civic will win out. Unlike the Accent, it also has an automatic version and is a hell of a lot easier to find.

In a choice between the Insight and the Prius, I'd probably choose the Insight, but there are definitely better cars in the fight for value.

  • Put those to cars in a drag race and then u will see witch one is faster and better

  • BUY A REAL CAR, GET A JETTA TDI, 50MPG, BATTERIES NOT REQUIRED

  • @renefern Yes but Diesel Cost more than Gas does.

  • @KillerFox47 True Diesel is more expensive but with a Jetta TDI the mileage you get over pass the potential savings of just pumping gas

  • @renefern

Really!! so electronics devices in this car doesn't required batteries too

    woohoo!!

  • @kurokung

Yes they do require a $100 battery and not a $8k one. Enjoy your electric box with wheels, woohoo how fun

  • @renefern

The reason that the TDI has better gas mileage is because diesel has a considerably more amount of energy in it, and causes way worse emissions that regular gas

  • @ItsRobbyHoe That is a thing of the past, with the new technology the Jetta TDI's are zero emissions because of the DPF Diesel Particulate Filter. Actually the 2009 Jetta TDI 2009 was the Green Car of the year,

  • Just buy a cheap Honda jazz, or get a cheap Chevrolet for longer journeys. Then buy a Nissan Leaf for most of the journeys, or wait a couple of years until Nissan make the leaf go 200-250 miles.

  • I would get Honda... if only it didn't look like fucking Prius! Why on earth would anyone wants to copy a design of the most hideous car ever made?

  • Both cars aren't very good looking but the Honda Insight is a little better looking. Both are very fuel efficient. Both are Hybrids with the Toyota Prius getting the better of the MPG. Buying a new car the interior should feel new and refresh. Honda and Toyota does a good job of that.

  • @ak99372 are u kidding me, the prius in this video looks amazing!

  • @ak99372 Aerodynamics is aerodynamics. Neither car was designed with looks in mind.

  • Comment removed

  • Why is it so cheap? An Accord cost more than the insight.. so does a civic hybrid

  • a bit biased...

  • honda pwns the prius!!! & i like the interior of the insight 2.

  • Fact is, more Prius' are sold than Insights, regardless of the price. Prius looks better and is sportier, gets higher MPG and has more horsepower than Insight. The Insight is obsolete. Prius wins hands down!!!

  • Prius wins, not because of the mileage but because of the seat comfort.

  • Warming*

  • Global Warning is a reality, Get an eco car and thank god it gets you to point 2 point without difficulty

  • Hybrid cars are pointless! A small diesel will achieve better economy easier! Hybrid should only be implemented to small city cars,as their pros end inside city borders

  • @MDIVISIONRULES That's true so long as the price of diesel is not significantly more expensive than gas/petrol, as it is here in the USA. I would have bought a Golf TDI instead of a Prius, but diesel is 50 cents a gallon more expensive, wiping out any savings. Furthermore, I am getting 54mpg (equivalent to 65mpg in Europe) from the Prius and the Golf would have returned only about 36mpg.

  • @OldMrGrace i don't know about the US,but in Europe,diesel is a better choice!

  • just buy the Honda CR-Z. they did a test and it got 50 MPG

  • 2 very terrible cars.

  • PRIUS WINS

  • why are they reviewing 2 of the same car?

  • ah i'm dreaming of Honda Insight :(

  • The Insight is a car, the Prius is an appliance.

  • @FrontalTraction Actually they're both appliances!

  • Yes, the Prius has power. When you press the power button, from a dead stop, it takes off like a rabbit squealing the tires (a little). I LOVE my 2011 Prius but I've had great luck with every Toyota and Honda I ever owned and that's at least 10. I have no doubt the Insight is a good car too....nearly as good, but not quite, as Prius.

  • Nearly as good mileage doesn't cut it. You buy these cars BECAUSE of mileage and that makes Insight second best...Period.

  • Comment removed

  • Considering the Prius as an 'eco' car is like considering shandy as a kind of whiskey, -Screw it, get a Smart car or a VW Polo blue-motion they get 80MPG =P

  • @AMMGTRS You do know those 2 cars are a lot smaller then either of the Prius or the Insight right? You can't compare them. If Toyota put the HSD system into the Yaris it'd easily beat those 2 cars.

  • @smokedame Yeah I know their allot smaller but allot more eco friendly. People have been fooled into hybrids too bad.

  • @AMMGTRS Wrong again. People have been fooled into thinking Hybrids are less eco friendly then they really are. It's just a old rumour that won't die, but the truth of it is they really are cleaner.

  • @smokedame See here you yankies are so transparent. Hybrids are 5H1T!

  • @AMMGTRS Not an American here. If hybrids are so bad, how come in the UK they are out selling diesels now??? Think what you want, but facts are facts. Problem with your side of the planet is you're all stuck in the past....look at your buildings and streets for starters.

  • @smokedame RETARD! diesels have been in the UK for about 40 years,

  • @AMMGTRS and what does that have to do with anything? ya...and I'm the retard...

  • @AMMGTRS They get 80mpg because your gallons are bigger then American gallons. Do the conversion and they don't get as good as millage as either of these Hybrids.

  • @AMMGTRS Sorry, a Smart car gets about 38 mpg and is tiny compared to Pruis. Nothing in the US gets even close to 80 mpg. Well, my 50 cc. Aprilia moped does, but I think you are talking cars.

  • @dkw12002 your talkin' in american gallons i'm talkin' in brittish gallons =D

  • Both of these cars do more harm to the environment than Hummers

  • I had the 2010 Insight when it first came out. I drove the car for a year. The longer I owned the car the more I hated it. January 10th I traded my Insight for a 2010 Prius. My only regret about getting the Prius is that I should have purchased it instead of the Insight.

  • nice car, but i'm type of person who cant stand to watch people overtaking me specially when i'm driving such a car.

  • a diesel powered jetta gets the same mileage, better interior quality, will last at least 200k miles, cost the same as the prius and has less environmental impact

  • the prius gets for mpg and also has more power. what the fuck honda.

  • Hey Im choosing between the insight and the Fit. Can someone tell which is better?

  • @happyblackie the fit has more power ... just saying

  • @happyblackie different vehicles. I'd go for the fit myself. Top tier mileage for a gas-only car, nice looking, same nimble chassis with more power./ But if I was going to get a hybrid it would be the insight.

  • @ShawDAMAN k thanx

  • What about the Volt? Oh right, this is MotorTrend i'm talking about

  • They are both, the most ugly cars I have ever seen.

  • Toyota Prius has a bigger carbon footprint then even some V8 Mercedes full size cars! One reason is the manufactoring process. Take the batteries for instance:1Raw material is digged up in Canada 2Exported to Europe to be refined 3Sent to China for final refinement 4Sent to Japan where the battery is made, and installed on a Prius 5Exported to USA. If you are planning to buy Prius for a puropse to give a little back to this fragile earth, this vehicle has a iron curtain.. There are other ways...

  • @rob2049

I thought the rare earth are from Australia?

  • @UnitedPebbles It might be so, I know the first and second generation had that route. Even if it is Australia, that is even worse!

  • In 2005, Toyota built crappy car, even one in Japan is not the same quality as said 10 years ago. I said it is on par with Honda Canada. Very terrible, so sorry but recall must have some truth to it. No wonder they start off Scion as back up for the failing giant, another Sony in the making.

(French)

  • The insight is definetly the best choice.

  • I Can drive a classic 50's/60's V8 Muscle car for the rest of my life and not produce as much pollution as one of these does when its manufactured.

  • Yes to honda,, cheaper roadtax in malaysia, price differ of USD10k

  • honda 1

  • The prius looks way better, but the insight drives better

  • jeez people the prius is not the best maybe you should try both cars before you troll on here. Iam supporting the Inisight for 3 main reasons:

    1. It has a smoother drive.

    2. Its way cheaper, the top of the line EX w/Navi cost me only $19,250. Where as the Prius is around $31,380 with all the same features.

    3. Honda's warranty is a 100K/10 year warranty instead of Toyota's 5 year/60K warranty.

The downside of the Insights are:

-only 42.2 MPG instead of 48 MPG of the Prius.

  • @amoghthegamer wow, that's a great price. Manuf. sticker price on the EX w/nav is like $23k. I guess dealers are willing to bargain?

I'll be shopping for an Insight this week and want at least the EX. Would love to get it under $20k

  • @meesterbrian

still was $22,995 so yeah $23K, they had only the Navi and the LX in stock. They needed to meet their quota for the end of the month so he sold me the Navi for $19 or the LX for $17, I took the Navi for resale value and it came with blue-tooth too. if you wait till the end of November that would be better so you can get a better price since they all will be trying to get their quota. you can definitely get the EX under $20K FOR SURE. just tell em you liked the Prius!!!!!

  • @amoghthegamer. and the inside isnt as big as the prius, and my friend bought one and honestly, it feels like im riding inside a tin can (ride quality is sub par)

  • @amoghthegamer

It all comes down to how the driver handles their cars, if you are more aggressive then you consume much more fuel. I've owned the 2010 Prius 5 model w/ nav package since June 2010. Average mpg city for me so far is 56.4 and hwy 61. I live in Florida so premium gas atm $3.38, full tank cost $30 and last me 12-14 days with driving to campus, work, and the occassional downtown or theme parks. My car $34,000 from david maus. Kudos to both honda and toyota though.

  • @amoghthegamer Great points, I never knew how much cheaper the insight is. Most have already crowned the Prius king, but I still have an open mind...

I give the nod to the Prius for mpg and exterior styling. Honda seems to be stuck in the past with its exterior design. Interior "fluid" like design is nice on the prius but I Insight is better overall, IMO. I'm looking to buy new in 2 years so I can't wait to see what the future may bring for electric and hybrid vehicles!

  • @RJL1981

then you in for a treat! if you live in a city and dont travel far, check out the new Chevy Volt, it does 40 miles on a charge without ANY gas! you will pay on average 3 cents PER MILE for the first 40 miles! epic! there is also the Nissan Leaf, and more.

  • @amoghthegamer I have looked into them but I can't justify spending $42k on a vehicle... The range is not very good on these vehicles yet, and it takes more than 1 night to charge the battery (when plugged into a 120V outlet, so I'm not sold on these cars but maybe in the future!

  • @RJL1981

nope sticker is 42K, but you can haggle down to 40K, government will pay 7.5K, most states pay from 2.5-7.5 K too. Here in Nebraska, the total price for a Nissan Leaf is $22,380 for the base and $24,810 for top of the line. The volt is $23,180 for the base and $25,189 for the top of the line.

  • @amoghthegamer do you have a link to those prices? i just called nissan of omaha and they dont have any prices available, leaf wont be in stock for 5-6 months.

  • @RJL1981

oh no not locally, Iam talking about from Cali or NY. Iam just saying, once it does launch here, then you can get it down here. I didn't know you were purchasing right now, cause then, you'd have to buy later, I thought you were buying down the line....

  • @amoghthegamer Toyota Hybrid-related components for hybrid vehicles are covered for 8 years/100,000 miles. Basic is 36mos/36,000. Power train is 60 mos, 60k. Not bad...

  • @amoghthegamer Though this Insight is a cool car, the Prius has a more advanced drive system, it's larger, and in my own opinion, has a smoother ride. Plus, the Prius has 134hp where as the Honda has 98hp, I live in West Virginia where I've driven the Insight and the 1.3L engine shows a noisy side because it doesn't have a big electric motor to help out. Plus, with Honda's hybrid system, you can only create or consume electricity, where the Prius can do both.

  • @amoghthegamer I also want to point out that Toyota's hybrid system has the same warranty the Insight does. 8yrs/100k miles, that covers the battery, inverter, and all other hybrid components.

A Prius starting at $23,000 still gets you more goodies, like smart entry & smart start, push button start, standard 7 airbags, including one for the drivers knee, 89g of Co2 per kilometer compared to 104g of Co2 for the Insight. For $2,000 more, I can get a larger car with more power, and better mpg.

  • @amoghthegamer Plus, Honda has been having trouble with their batteries. The type of battery's all Honda hybrids have used are the very outdated D-Cell batteries, compared to the sealed modules that Toyota's been using since 2000. Plus, the Insight, along with any other Honda hybrid does not have a battery equalizer. So over time, your battery cells will get unbalanced which can lead to dead cells which also leads to cell replacement.

  • @amoghthegamer I've been hearing horror stories about the Civic hybrid a lot lately, stating that the battery is failing before the warranty, so they updated the hybrid ECU to use the battery less which means dropped mpg's and power. So now it's designed to fail right after the warranty runs out. I don't think this is true with the Insight, however. I'm not bad mouthing the Insight, I like the Insight just as much as the other guy, but the Prius was better thought out.

  • @amoghthegamer honda's warranty is 5year/60000miles. its same as toyota...maybe u are confused with hyundai

  • @amoghthegamer You are so full of shit the ex model is 22,495 that is with out navi dipshit. 100k/10y you are on fucking drugs retard. 31,380 prius gets you so much more than the insights navi model lets not forget it has about 40 more hp than the insight and get better gas mileage.

  • @nutthuggersexposed

Wow, you can read the sticker price.... Too bad only fucking retards like you pay that! It was 100K/10 year but it is now 8 Years/80K, look it up dipshit. I bought my insight last year in September and I got a 10 year warranty. If for any reason you are buying an ECO friendly car, why the hell would you compare Horse Power idiot?

  • @amoghthegamer You are so fucking stupid it is pathetic you know nothing about your worthless piece of shit car. Why would I care that the Prius had 40 more hp?? Are you fucking stupid? Maaybe so I can climb a hill with out my car screaming like a weed eater. Lets not forget it has better mpg as well dumb FUCK!

  • @nutthuggersexposed

too bad your the one that started this you dipshit. I just explained my opinions first, and then you come in being a dumbass redneck you are. First of all, both cars can go up hills without sounding like a weed eater. secondly, learn to spell, maybe is not spelled maaybe. now, why don't you run off and go run off and hunt deer so you can pretend you have some balls. Okay?

  • @amoghthegamer Do not tell me it can climb big hills with out sounding like a weed eater I owned the fucking car! I was going through the mountains in Tennessee and I thought my motor was going to blow up it was working so hard. Aside from that I dont care if you pay 24k or 17k for this vehicle there is no excuse for it not to have a proper ac unit.

  • @nutthuggersexposed

well I currently OWN it. You OWNED it. either you are a moron or you have a different car than me. I went to Colorado and the Rocky Mountains with this and I had no problem!

  • @amoghthegamer I made a mistake bro the car sucks ass.

  • How does the Honda insight preform in snow? I need a answer because I'm looking into one

  • I'm sorry but if you chose to drive either one of these, you have no soul :(

  • They both look like a Steam Iron :P

  • The thing is, the civic hybrid has things like low resistance tires for more mpg, and the insight has normal tires to make the feel more 'normal'. Honda should make the insight as economical as possible, and the civic hybrid as user friendly as possible. That should teach Toyota. Honda could have made tons of $ from the first insighht if it was 4 dr.

  • Prius is about 15% more expensive than the Insight, but only receives about 12% increase in gas mileage. So its not a big gain, if you got a higher gas mileage than maybe it would be worth it. In other words you have to test drive both and get one you like, because they are almost equally as sufficient.

  • Comment removed

  • I go with neither... ill take my non hybrid sebring any day... why? for one, its paid off, and two, its still a very reliable car regardless of what expert car reviewers (and ignorant people who have never actually driven a sebring in their life) say. Besides, it doesnt start paying for itself til you pay it off considering the extra charge you receive for purchasing a hybrid... not worth the money in my opinion... for everone else, to each his/her own.

  • Neither..

  • I don't like it but this maybe the future of cars

  • anybody who would own either is crazy and gay.

  • this guy talks really soft.. its kinda weird

  • font at the end is the same used on top gear... lol

  • toyota rox foo

  • I understand the whole saving gas thing but come on, these cars are ugly as hell

  • Hummer H3!

  • you get better mileage from 1 litre engine or a small diesel engine these are pointless really

  • If i have a choice : Insight...Prius has a bad reputation of a "Lame O" car of the century.

  • I have two 5.0L HO V8, a 91 GTand a 92 T-Bird Sport. Both at 180,000+ miles and run flawless. Neither had a wrench on the engine itself, although spark plugs and altenators have been changed, and one a starter. Point being, you can take your Japanese quality/German engineering and stick'em where the sun don't shine. I'd compare them to 19 year old imports...but there hard to find! If you'd rather a Prius than a 2010 'stang GT, you need more tofu, soya milk, and a nap! Ford ROCKS

  • @almostavgjoe dude you sound really stupid... they're both chucks of metal... one is not more 'manly' then the other.

Tools are built for a specific job. Its like saying a Phillips screw driver is a 'girly bitch' because it cannot tighten a bolt.

You're just a fucking moron.. id imagine you live alone with no friends and are actually the biggest nerd weakling on the block.

  • I hate hybrids, but like the secondary technology associated with the Prius, namely efficiency. I'd buy a prius, but only if the hybrid technology was removed. Why? The engine is fantastic. Without 300 to 400 extra pounds of batteries, electric motors, wires and bs, this car could get an additional 5 mpg on the freeway. This would be about 53 mpg hwy without the complexity of being hybrid. Toyota is sleeping. The car would be FAR LESS complex and far less expensive to produce.

  • @Umaxen Toyotas 1.8L gets 53mpg without the electric components?

Its amazing how people spout out complete bullshit online

  • Prius!

  • Prius!

  • @tomgoral S400!!!!!!

  • @tomgoral FUCK YOU!

  • Prius <3

  • More power to Prius. If you are driving on interstate, you need it.

  • They are f*cking ugly!!!! And their fuel consumption isn't that impressive. A prius uses 3.9 litres / 100 km. Our Audi A4 2.0 TDI does 4.5. And it's a nice looking car too.

  • This video is filled with gayness!!

Hybrids are gay, and are more harmful to the planet than a regular gasoline car. If you want a eco-friendly car get a diesel

  • Prius!!!!!!!!!!

  • i hate both of them ... 370Z owns lol

  • @vasyagn Skyline FTW

  • sorry, hydrogen will be the best way forward, i think the prius looks better. Id take the insight because it isnt a prius haha

  • its THE POWER OF DREAMS......

  • why do they make hybrids so fuck ugly??

  • race them!

  • Unlike Prius, Insight is more user friendly; it doesn’t have variety of throttle programmes. Just, a single feature carries out all the jobs together via the ECON mode. The indicator of ECON mode shows two types of lights – green & blue by symbolizing the fuel efficiency of the car. This is easier to comprehend and hence more favourable than Prius.

    For more information, checkout (derekchou)!

  • id rather go everywhere on a unicycle than drive those

  • if you want to be "green" by a geo metro for 1k and get 40 mpg and don't fuck your country over

  • If you're looking for a fuel efficient car to save money, I'll tell you the best new car sleeper deal on the market, the 2010 Hyundai Accent "Blue" model. Get the manual transmission with no a/c (if you can live without a/c, up here in Chicago that's pretty easy). I got mine for $9,100, $11,000 after taxes and fees. I'm getting 40 mpg in city driving, no highway miles. I imagine once I do get on the highway I'll be getting 45 mpg+.

  • u can make n drive a hummer h2 for 300,000miles and leave a smaller carbon footprint than is u were 2 make n drive a pruis for 100,00miles (witch is what it is supost 2 last)

  • @AntiEcoCarFan , yeah your so smart , can't you share a bit of your sharp mind..

  • @AntiEcoCarFan , what do you think I was ? your really smart I see

  • @AntiEcoCarFan , NO DONT CRY... I dont want your mother to come and yell at me

  • @AntiEcoCarFan , fuck a donkey , faggot

  • @AntiEcoCarFan , just because I share one of the arguments hippies have doesnt mean I am one , you dipshit... but stay ignorant to the world around you moron

  • @AntiEcoCarFan , yeah because you dont wanna save the planet.. do you think earth will hold togheter for as much pollution we take it trough... soon enough we're gonna die for our mistakes

  • Be carefull the speeder doesn't get stuck when you buy the toyota.

    try

    toyotasimulator(dot)com

  • prius, im sorry but i like the prius better, & that is the first time i'd rather have a toyota than a honda

  • Honda = oil burning, problem making cars. You see more toyotas on the road with easily 200k miles i.e. corollas and camrys. Fuck the insight.

  • Toyota > Honda

  • Both are gay and look like shit. Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan Hybrids have the best of both worlds.

  • @georgianborat I know you are quoting Jeff Dunham but maybe you should know what YOU are talking about. The Prius does not Idle. It has a much better design than the Insight that allows it to sit using no energy at all(except the instrament panel ect.). The Prius is design to allow the internal combustion engine to run at peak efficency at all times.

    <
