Lolicon getting outwitted and manipulated by loli is a fairly standard trope in most ecchi anime and manga. Initially, it's funny in BPS, but it got to be standard schtick as the series went on... and right when the plot development started to get good, the series got cancelled for being too repetitive (especially with the ecchi gags).
