@AeonsSpirit Tidus and Jecht technically don't exist. :P By the end of each of the FF games every villain comes from, the villain usually dies. Dissidia doesn't follow the stories of the games it takes from to a T. It's conceivable that they'd bring Zack into it, despite his death.

@Asgard314 it could be that zack was a fallen warrior from one of the earliest cycles, and in that cycle, his Crisis Core death was mirrored/mimcked by a similiar death in-cycle. That would definetly be awesome, no doubt.

@Asgard314 also, when warriors "die" they really just go to a world where they fight gabranth (who judges who is worthy of ressurection) in order to come back. Zack might have actually totaly failed that, or more likely, is just chillin in that world with no ambition to be revived.

Zack had to fight the people he used to love , Angeal , Sephiroth , Genesis , his idols , he had a dream , to become just like Angeal , and the whole company turned against him, yet , he took care of Cloud , he got his backwater expert friend , and still managed to carry his burden. As in the end , we truly did cry. FF CC is more than just a game. Square - Enix managed to get a game and its characters into our hearts.

Respect for each and everyone in Square - Enix.

I knew that Zack would die at the end that's why I kept loading other saved files in my psp crisis core files. However, as a final fantasy player, I had to finished the game. I knew he wouldn't survive, but I had this little hope that he could defeat all those shinras and cried so much after all that :'(

You can already sense the sadness in this song. It played often in the church and thinking about it, it's sort of a theme for Zack & Aerith's love story. Not only was their fates alone tragic, but so were their love story. I don't care what anyone says, what Zack & Aerith had was real and it was love. It's not "puppy love", sure Zack was somewhat of a womanizer, but all that changed when he became serious with Aerith. Who goes to their girlfriend's hometown the HQ of Shinra if it wasn't love?!

@valypaly3 No, Nobuo Uematsu is the original composer for games 1-10. He also composed the opening song and theme song for Final Fantasy 12. I think he also composed some spin-offs, but I'm not really sure. He's in charge of the Distant Worlds: Music from FINAL FANTASY concert. Takeharu Ishimoto is the one that composed Crisis Core. The only FF7 spin-off that Uematsu composed is Advent Children, but I am unsure on that as I don't really know who composed Dirge of Cerberus.
