I go through phases at times as well. I have a few friends that love GURPS. I'm a big BRP Basic Roleplaying fan when it comes to generic games. When inspiration comes along it really is best to jot it all down, because I always forget it later.
for starters, you could tell someone like me who has only played like 3 times how to get started as playing a character. what are the basics that i need to know when i go and sit down to create and play with my charecter. how should i chose my character that is right for me and then what do i do when i sit down to play with that particular character. can i not use six sided dice? what will i be takin notes about? etc.
