Hi Kimberley, I've tried to start carving, and everything is going well. The only problem I face is that my candles become dry and brittle very quickly, in less than 5 minutes, so I never reach the top designs. The base looks good and then stops abruptly or else pieces break off while carving. Please tell me a technique to keep the candle adequately warm and supple. Also , the layers separate after carving.
