Genius bro!!!! My home button not working seems more of a software issue. I already changed the home button and charging port and yet it is still broken. It stopped working permanently when I tried jailbreaking with Limera1n. First time I was able to get the home button back by restoring. I tried jailbreaking with LImera1n again and home button stopped working again. I tried restoring and the home button didnt get fixed this time. Do you know how to fix this?

Thanks a lot for this video. My iPhone has a lot of dead pixels because of how hard I used to have to press the home button just to exit an app. I wish I knew this trick when the button first broke. I opened it up earlier today to try to fix it, but ended up screwing up the touch screen (lol) & then accidentally unplugged #1, 2, and 3; I managed to plug in #1 and #2, but not #3, but everything seems to work fine. I wonder what #3 does.. anyways, thanks again!! :)
